We called these guys this past week. The owner answered and was very professional and quite direct. He was prompt and came when he said he would. Got the job done very fast and efficiently. While he was here we asked for a quote to install additional recessed lights, he went out side for a few minuets and was back very shortly with an estimate labor and materials to do the install. He had explained they were in peak season (September thru late December) and were not available to extra work at this time. We are very happy with him and Spark Electrical and will be calling them back to get the lighting done in the new year.

We arrived to our whistler condo this past weekend from WA to find the electric baseboard heat was off and not working. Called around and had trouble finding an electrician. It seems that they are all busy. Tried calling Spark a couple of times no answer, left a message. Within 24 hours we received a text back from someone, asking for more details about our problem. Later he called and arranged to drop by to review the problem. Within minutes he had it fixed. Un believable, he found a bad connection and repaired it on the spot. Great service. I highly recommend them to any one.

Spark Electric has been servicing our clients for 16 years. As property manager for private homes I could not ask for better, quicker and efficient service.

zero stars. Read the above review and decided to try them out anyway. Didn't get past the first phone call was very unhelpful not professional and quite rude.

The owner of the company came to my house in Pemberton to install a duplex outlet for my washing machine. He quoted me for at least 2.5 hours of time which would be about $250 plus GST. When he was finished in under an hour I was surprised he was still charging me $250 to which he responded that I had "put the gears" to him for a price and so he was making it $250 even though it took less than an hour. He figured 45 min each way commute time from Whistler (the drive is 20-30 minutes tops), $50 in "parts" which he did not elaborate on (in fact he admitted the parts were NOT $50 but since I had demanded a price and he quoted $250 he was padding the numbers in order to make it the $250 I was quoted). He justified it by saying that if he had gone over 2.5 hours for the work I would not have paid over $250. Actually, I had asked for a quote of what the maximum time it would take was and expected if it took less to be charged less. He was very surly and unpleasant to me in spite of the fact I was holding my baby.
