I came here for a relaxing massage, booked in for firm pressure. The practitioner was sneezing and coughing through massage and sniffling. It was hard to relax and at one point during the face up part of the massage, she sneezed and I felt the droplets fall on my face. She informed me she’s sick with sick kids at home. Through the massage she was often disconnecting or moving to one hand light pressure. I let the receptionist know and all that came from it was “ thanks for your feedback “ Pretty disappointed.
I went in for a haircut and I've been left devastated. I have had short hair in the past and I'm not against trying new things. But, I brought in a photo with the expectation that I would receive at least slightly similar. Instead I received an all over shave with a stark line and hair that left me my husbands twin. I had hoped I was being anxious for no reason but after coming home, taking photos, and comparing it to what I asked for I was brought to tears. It is not even close. The stylist was so kind and she must make many people happy with their hair, she made me happy the first time, but what I asked for and what I received are so vastly different and it will take months to recover from this. Im just lucky it’s toque season. Because Ive been left with nothing to work with and ptsd over clippers.
My husband and I went for facials and massages a couple of months ago. When we were lying on the tables we explained that we'd like a fair bit of pressure in certain areas but was told that it would be a light massage. Basically, they rubbed cream on us but there was no value at all. I decided to write this review today because I was searching for a place to go and get another couple's massage but we'll never return. A great disappointment.

Rav is the best!! I only go to her, she makes me feel so comfortable and she’s so kind and she makes me feel like I can be open with her. Definitely go to her you won’t be disappointed!!!
Me and my hubby have been going to Maria to have our hair and for him his beard cut for awhile now and she is absolutely fabulous?
The spa was nice and clean and staff were very polite. In addition, they accommodated our request to use the steam room before our appointment. I had a relaxation massage that was supposed to be light to medium pressure. I asked for medium pressure, but it was definitely light pressure. We were picked up from the steam room late, but my massage still ended at the original time. That was a bit disappointing.
Alanna was fantastic. Very soft voice and sweet. Can hold conversation well or allow you to relax depending what your preference is. She is wonderful. Spa itself was meticulously clean, always smells great when you are there, receptionist staff are friendly and welcoming.
My fiance and I got a couple's massage here. It was both of our first time ever getting a massage! He got a deep tissue and I had a prenatal massage. The atmosphere was relaxing however at times we could here the other staff outside of our room being fairly loud. He found that he felt calm and relaxed afterwards. We both wish there had been more pressure but all around were happy with the massages we received. The person that did mine did a great job working with me as I was unable to lie on my stomach due to being 38 weeks pregnant. Overall we would recommend going here for a relaxing experience
Booked a couples massage for our Anniversary. Great massage, excellent service. The only thing I would preferred would have been to change into a robe first, maybe enjoy a steam or sauna. Not sure if this Spa is setup for this. We went straight into the room and laid down for the massage. Other Spas I've been to, you can enjoy your time in a lounge before your treatment. This one didn't have that.
