Found it on google maps and read review. Went there and very pleased with ambiance and food quality and the craft beer! Fun atmosphere on lower level. Booths and tables and pub atmosphere. Checked out upstairs and that is sexy lounge atmosphere with dimmed lighting and purple lights. Pizza roulette a good idea.
They've set-up an outdoor patio space to accommodate social distancing measures. Servers are friendly and food is delicious. Make sure to check their hours of operation as they close certain days of the week.
The food makes this place 100% worth it. My friend had a flatbread that was vibrant with flavor and fresh. We split the Nashville hot buffalo sprouts that were placed on top of a fluffy toast and they were my favorite thing. I had the burger with poutine fries- they really honored Canada's poutine reputation.
Cannot say enough good things about this place. The fried chicken is *chef’s kiss* the cauliflower were crisp but not overly oily. The sauces were perfectly paired. The burgers was delicious! 10/10 would go again.
We got takeout from here and it was just alright. I wasn't wowed by any of the items we got, particularly for the price. We ordered the sovereign burger, mint & melon salad and spicy Hawaiian pizza. The salad was a lot of dressing and arugula, not much else for $16. It was all pretty basic and not overly flavourful.
The Sov has the BEST fried chicken in the city! Their staff are always so nice, and the atmosphere is so cozy. I love it here!
