Southview Fire Station No. 23

Posting this literally right after this happened. My water tank turned off so I had to reignite the pilot, and when it did, it smelled like rotten eggs. (According to Google, the smell could mean a gas leak). So immediately I called the non emergency line and they came even before the dispatch said help was coming. It only ended up being the sewage heating up and that's why it smelled like rotten eggs. They probably thought I was silly but I'm very thankful they came so fast.

Earlier tonight the fire department responded to call at 21 dover pt, to which about 5 fire trucks and 1 ambulance initially responded. 2 fire trucks stayed to respond. My 2 year old daughter was stoked the trucks were her. So we we went out. One of the drivers ended up getting out and giving her a coloring book and offered her a chance to sit in the truck. She was to shy so we passed. But as the firefighters came out. They all took the time to wave to her and say bye as they drove off. We both were very impressed by their professionalism and the gratitude. Thanks guys!
