Camp hosts are friendly and not overly strict. However, very expensive for an Alaskan camping experience.

great campsite--like most AK state campgrounds, they don't take reservations, but we wish they did so we could have secured a lakeside spot! The sites were neat and spacious, with decent privacy from adjacent sites. Access to water was limited--only one pump offering non-potable water--but this is pretty typical. The lake is a lot of fun and it was easy to get to, and we were able to drive in on a Thursday evening and get a pretty good spot at 8:30 pm, although it was busier by the same time Friday.

Very crowded,over priced,And not well maintained.

It's nice and secluded. The only thing I didn't really care for was the availability of the boat shop. It seemed like they were only open when they wanted to be, which is disappointing because the lake is huge!!!
