Great year round campground with a variety of sites. Not many during the winter with full hookup, but there are a few. Their office is only open Mondays and Fridays during the winter so try to plan accordingly, but if it's a last minute need for a site, that's ok too. We showed up when the office was closed and no reservation and was still able to get a full hookup site for a week. Super nice staff and decent winter prices. Only complaint... 3.50 per load for laundry! Come prepared with quarters if you need to wash your clothes. But, I still highly recommend this campground.

Scenic spot, kind and hard working staff. I stayed here several times and will stay again. The facilities are complete and convenient, and it is well situated for exploration and adventure in many directions. On clear days the mountains are visible. Wasilla and Palmer are nearby, for restaurants and other conveniences. Anchorage is only 45 minutes or so away, and the drive there is nice and fast paced.

I chose this campground over others in the area because it looked to be further away from the highway than others and other campers had reviewed the noise level to be nominal however, we were situated on the right side of the campground (as you tun into the entrance) and it was really loud. Highway noise was loud and constant. Ear plugs were needed. I would suggest requesting a site on the left side of the park away from the highway. The campground was clean. Both laundry and bathhouse facilities were clean and well maintained. The lady in the office was polite and helpful. Laundry was very expensive at $3.50 a wash (common) however it was also $3.50 to dry on once cycle. I have never come across this before, It didn't dry my clothes so a dry cost me $7.00. That's ridiculous. For those of you with pets, whilst there is no dog run off leash area, there is grass space to walk your dog around the perimeter of the park and an off leash area away 8 minutes drive away. Overall our stay was OK. Equal amounts of pros and cons. Big rig friendly.

It's a really nice place. The owner was very nice. The park was clean and it have full hookups. Before writing this, I saw a pretty cute cat next to our RV. It's so cute!!!!! P.s. I suggested the people who read what I wrote to come to this park for one night or several nights.
