Just a short drive off the highway, and then some rough gravel paths, with some water if it's been raining, and then you're up in some amazing country. A naturalist's paradise, with some many plants, birds, and animals to identify. Bring a camera and binoculars. Bring a picnic lunch, but you don't really need to pack much, as most of this area can be seen from your vehicle, with some short hikes to get to some prominent locations.

The gravel road gets rough and bumpy so you want to go slow but the views are amazing. We saw a couple of eagles and a black bear when we drove through here.

Main road in terrible condition rough in 4x4 and many sharp rock out cropping very hard on tires surprised not more people with flat tires
