South Hill Goodwill

Cocky and rude staff. Questionable morals, less than impressive organization of merchandise, and ridiculous donation system. Note: if you're looking for a store with competent, kind staff and reasonable prices, look elsewhere, this isn't the place.

This Goodwill is clean and the staff is nice. However, their prices are ridiculous!! It really angers me when i see donated items selling for more than what you can buy them new for. Sure the money goes for job training but what about the families who live on fixed incomes and have children? I always believed that was one of the prime reasons second hand stores were for. To help the people who can't afford to buy new. Instead they sell second hand items, not always in the greatest shape, for new prices. So sad to see.

This place is awful! they fire people with functional disabilities, under pay other intellectually challenged, they lie about helping people, like those with autism, allow after hours dumping even though it's illegal. The are a FOR PROFIT! All they care about is money. So don't let that non profit stuff fool you. They DO NOT care about employees. Most of the donations are pure garbage not even the dump will take. Most people looking to dump garbage are foul mouthed towards the employees, spit on the swear at them, argue with them. Managers do not back their employees. Awful place!

One of the best goodwill! Finally found a book what I was looking for... a lot of rustic furniture too...

I love good will but there prices are getting a little high for second hand stuff. The use to have an area for more designer cloths and they dont any more and when they do have something there prices are just to high. But other than that i love this store!!!
