What a great space and food! They need more help as all other businesses. The waitress was in great spirits even though she was overwhelmed. You must do the sour toe cocktail challenge! So worth it! Highly recommended!
Home of the Sourtoe shooter. Something, I think, everyone should do when in Dawson. It's basically the price of a shot anyway. We had dinner and drinks while we were there. I had the Chicken burger and fries, which was a nice chicken breast with bacon, cheddar and the usual fixins, along with fresh cut parm fries. My wife has a small order of nachos which was quite substantial and enough for a table of four. The food was good and the drinks were very reasonably priced. Keep in mind that it is a very popular spot and it might be difficult to get a table between 6 and 8 pm.

I did the toe from his father at the Copper king Hotel outside Whitehorse in 1988. Wish I still had the certificate. glad I did it ... Top a bed of sambuca and ice
The Sourdough saloon is where you can do the toe shot! The bar has a really great balance of locals and tourists. The staff are phenomenal! Make sure to go early before 10pm to get your name on the list for the toe shot - they will only do so many per night and will cut it off at a certain point! Definitely an older bar so it is not overly glamorous inside, but this is all part of the charm and the atmosphere!
This place is a must see place, the staff are wonderful people. They are known for there Sourtoe Cocktail, that entails a shot of your choicehard liquor, and a toe. Sounds gross, but it's not to bad, plus you get to say how you've done it. The bar has a couple games on the inside, and doors just like the olden days ! I had a blast everytime I was here, there was always something going on. Whether it be love music, karaoke, or people lined up from all over the world to take the infamous toe shot.
I was sour toe, drinker 100,002. The MP of Yukon and Mayor of Dawson City, beat me to being 100,000 person to do the drink. I understand and think Captain Terry is wonderful. A great experience. If you are in Dawson City, it's a must. Got my certificate.

This 25 july i sit at a table. A young blond waitress rude and unpolite telling me i can t stay there and get out of the way now ! The table was reserved . No cartons or anything to say it was reserved. There are ways to say it with respect and manners. The only person i ve met like that in Dawson. Everybody else very kind.
I joined the sourtoe club last night!. This place has amazing history and the service is great. The sourtoe club is a must when you come. And The Captain is awesome!!
