Jack London's Grill
"Traditional British style pub and restaurant.Authentic English fare includes fish and chips, shepherds pie and many other familiar menu items. The chef and owner is from Surrey, just south of London and frequently visits with guests at the bar and in the dinning room.Much of the memorabilia and decorations that you see today have been kindly donated to Jacks by thoughtful guests over the years which gives the pub it's eclectic character."

Always delicious and HOT! Had a few apps, including the blue cheese dip which was fantastic! Food was gone before I thought about photos fish and chips always a wonderful treat and Shepard’s pie very tasty. We love this place, visit about twice a month. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Fantastic service! Any family we have in town, we bring here. Keep it up Chef and team!!
Great English food in the Tampa area. Really great atmosphere. Genuine English feel to it. Staff were super nice and very attentive. The beers were great. Mix of English beers, Irish, German, and local Florida's brews. The food was great. The scotch egg was as close as it came to authentic since I was in Scotland. The meat pie was also really good. The Sheppard's pie was a little dry but still good and the curry pirvI had felt like a mix of 2 English classics. It was fantastic. Highly recommend if you like good pub grub.
I enjoyed this rare gem. The food was good, but don't order the beer battered shrimp. Really small and over price. That's on me order it as my protein, but I figured I was in Tampa...right? Service was great All the dishes that came out looked spectacular and smelled delicious.Food: 4/5
This was our first time stopping in and came for the fish and chips. Emily did NOT disappoint! There were so many yummy options she helped us suggest the best way to get a taste of it all. The shepherd pie fries are an absolute must, the mushroom soup was chunky and delicious, and the fish was juicy, crispy and fried to perfection. Highly recommend coming in. Peter even stopped by the table to say hi and was super friendly. Must must must come by!!! Also prices are perfection, beers and the meal was under $40 for 2!!!!
Update: 2nd time here. My friend had fish and chips again and loved it. I tried their Seafood Pie, not a fan. Reason - it was mostly bread and sauce, not much seafood in it at all, disappointed about this a little. Stick to fish and chips if you go. Original: First time at Jack's London Grill. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful telling us about the restaurant and menu options. Indoor and outdoor seating, we chose to sit outside and he was so nice to put up an umbrella for us without being asked. He explained that almost everything is cooked from scratch. We both went for fish and chips and it didn't disappoint! White flaky fish came out piping hot and was delicious. They have smaller lunch options or full size, depending on your appetite. I wish my full size order came with slaw like my friend's lunch portion did, I felt a little left out It smelled incredible there like freshly baked pies so I'm definitely coming back to try on of those, lots of things on the menu to choose from.
Shepherd's Fries - like shepherd's pie and poutine had a baby!! Once I saw this on their menu, I had to go try it, along with a mini artisan bread loaf with garlic butter. All so delicious! And the menu has many traditional British meat pies that I want to try as well. 1000% want to go back and try more things.Food: 5/5
Very nice place! I got the fish and chips delicious! My wife had steak ale pie. Very impressive. The service was excellent. We dined on the patio. Dessert was spot on.
Great service, great prices. We each got the lunch size fish and chips, and the Brie puff app. All of it was amazing and the tartar sauce was top notch!
Second time here. Both times excellent! I'm allergic to eggs and the chef/owner was super kind and offered to make a crust without the egg wash! Not sure if he can do that for others if they're really busy but I was pleased. My lunches were delicious!
So glad we found this wonderful British pub which we had never found in our 11 years here. The lamb shank was amazing & the chicken leek pie. We can't wait to come back and try a lot of other things including the tea on some Sundays .
