Awesome food, friendly workers. Unique recipe for the fries, they are battered and seasoned instead of the usual plain fries.
This was a pretty good lunch spot. People there are really nice. I got the burger this time but I will have to try different foods to get a more soulful taste, next time.
Had the shrimp and grits and it was delicious. Nice portion sizes. It was basically enough for two. I will return to try more of the menu.

Amazing food, good people making and serving. Prices very reasonable and portions ample. Very willing to work with my Celiac. Try the green beans, the catfish ask for spicy, and the collard greens. Also please tell them to bring on the Texas BBQ.
As someone who eats a lot of Po'boys I can honestly say I got the best catfish Po'boy I've ever had. A hearty serving of catfish, perfectly fried with a light flavourful breading. Fresh tomatoes and greens mixed with a delicious sauce and the perfect amount of pickle to add flavor but not be obtrusive.
