Very lovely place! They did a good job on the decorations, outside and around the walls inside. Staff are sublime! They were very helpful, fun to talk with and professional. Was a little busy when we went but they did a fine job keep composure. Food was very good. I got the angel hair with red win oregano sauce, meatballs and sausage. Very much enjoyed it! I'd recommend this place for a nice weekend night out.
So this is kinda a mixed bag. The service was excellent and the vibe was awesome! The drinks were okay and the food was mediocre at best. The staff were all young and had a great vibe to them and they were helpful in every conceivable way. They were knowledgeable about the restaurant, it's menu and the drinks the restaurant serves. But, of course that is to be expected. But, they were also knowledgeable about the town, the nearby businesses and even where the best places to get coffee in the morning! With all of that going for Sorci's I really wanted to love the food. Unfortunately, the food lacked flavor and the chicken which they used in the chicken fettuccine alfredo was very fatty, and did not have much flavor. The pumpkin ravioli also did not have much flavor but the vegetables were fresh. In this case it was the pasta that was wanting. The drinks on the other hand were excellent and the recommendations the waiter made were accurate and spot on. This includes him bringing a sample of the house rum to taste before ordering. This is definitely a great place to hang out with friends and to have a good stiff drink or two. And it is definitely worth the trip. Five stars all day long if it were just a bar or tasting room but unfortunately it is still a restaurant.
This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants close to home! They have great food and wonderful service. Last night, I took my partner here for the first time and the server was so great! Absolutely wonderful! Nolan was perfect, and knowledgeable about the menu. We sat on the patio with a heater nearby and it was a perfect date night. My partner was super excited to try the creme brulee! Which is a favorite of mine too!
Birthday dinner here. First time so not sure what to expect. When ordering no offer of bread or salad. I would have ordered separately, never mentioned Our entrees were really yummy ! We had the lasagna and the seafood fettuccine. The pesto cream sauce was delicious and could have used some bread for dipping! I never love when restaurants leave the tails on the shrimp as I have to touch my food to remove them. So it was messy to eat. But delicious. We shared the cannoli which was sweet, but tasty.
02/16/2022 I've been here for lunch several times. It does get really busy though. The food and staff are wonderful. I've ordered the Lasagna and Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and they were delicious.
Contrary to an earlier review about a "Southpark Episode" this will be our new regular dinning spot. The food was outstanding and the service was top notch. The atmosphere was very enjoyable. Definitely a place to take your significant other or a great place to have a drink with friends! Thanks Gibby for the great 1st time experience and we WILL be returning.
We love this little Sumner Italian spot! The staff is always courteous and fun. They recommended the sausage and mussels. It was amazing and the broth was so flavorful! Might be our new go-to app. The Gnocchi was tender and Chicken dinner special was great. Try the Chocolate Torte with Salted Caramel Gelato - was fabulous!Food: 5/5
We have always really liked it here. The food has been pretty good, service great and a nice environment. Recently it’s changed. Pros: The waitstaff is great. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. It’s an adorable space and very welcoming. Wine selection is good, but almost always out of the bottle we want. Cons: This was the 3rd time in a row we’ve come with over an hour to have our meals served. We make reservations and still wait 10-15 mins to be seated— not even at a table but at the bar 2/3 times. Which we agree not knowing how long it’ll be. The food used to be great. Now it tastes way less homemade and very okay. Overall, it’s okay. I’d be willing to pay a little more for one of the other local places these days.
Super charming place with indoor and outdoor seating. The food was excellent and the service was good as well. We came in for dinner on a Tuesday night and it was not very busy. I had the seafood fettuccini and I really enjoyed it. There was so much seafood on the plate. Large juicy shrimp and lots of clams and mussels cooked just right. The kids had pizza and they also enjoyed it.
The food we ordered had no flavor and was super bland. This place had been on my list of places to try for months and I was so disappointed. The cheesy bread was okay.
