It's a very standard local eatery serving up good Italian and pizzas. The one pizza I have ordered every time I come here is the porky pig pizza. It's pretty much pig 3 ways bacon, sausage and ham on a thin crust with BBQ sauce. Can't go wrong if you like pork.
The kids and I love the food and atmosphere here. Pro tip: Stick the Italian food, it is excellent, the other dishes are uh... no thanks. They do have the best house salads ever!!
My husband and I chose Aversano's to get some take out to celebrate our 7th anniversary. He LOVES their meaty deep dish pizza and I enjoy their cheese manicotti. They are perfect ! If ever you want good, solid Italian food do yourself a favor and try Aversano's. A little out of the way wonderfully gratifying.
Used Uber Eats, half order missing. called restaurant, was "put on hold", and I heard, "there's a lady on the phone wanting free food." umm.. really? SHe got back on the phone and said "if you come in, we will make you one." Forget it ... I will never eat there again. You can keep your chicken marsala.
Love, love, love the HeMan pizza, we have been going to Aversano's for 30+years and have never had a bad experience.
