I had a flawless experience here! I'm actually quite picky when it comes to getting my nails done. Tina did a fabulous job. Very gentle with my natural nails which is so rare in my experience. I also showed up 10 minutes early and was taken care of right away. Looking back I wish I tipped more. The space was also comfortable and clean. I will definitely be back, and hopefully the experience quality remains.

RACISM ALERT!!! I used the service for pedicure and acrylic powder/shellac. I do not like to give negative reviews because I just believe in the law of what I give to the universe. This however is something I thought I should do, perhaps the owner can call the staff to caution. I had the worse nail experience here. The lady did not understand English, which is not a bad thing in itself. What I found very bad was how she yelled at me. She set the pedicure water very hot and it was a struggle to make her understand because she was going back and forth and left me. So, I removed my legs. Overall, I found they were generally polite with other people except myself. I felt like I was profiled because of my skin. Which is crazy because I honestly could afford to pay $1000 for my nails if I chose to, by God’s grace. The lady asked me if I had a wedding occasion to attend. I answered with a smile that I did not. I didn’t have to have an occasion to come for my nails treat. It was my first, and definitely going to be the last. The final job for my legs were okay, BUT my finger nails were so poorly done that I honestly wanted them removed immediately. The other place I use for years is cheaper, neater and quite excellent! If I had a way to make the owner see my nails for a honest remark, I would. I was so frustrated and asked the other ladies to come check, she too started to yell. She said that’s the tone of her voice, and I reminded her that would be wrong since she has been talking to other people for like an hour that I was there. Next, she said, if I disrespect her she has to disrespect me, then I asked, if by insisting that someone should not yell while talking to me, I had been disrespectful. It was an overall stressful two hours for me as a pregnant woman that intended to go for a treat. Please treat all customers of all skin types with same level of excellence and respect!!!

Absolutely LOVE this place! It's the first time in my life that I have long and healthy nails, and I mean, they're MY nails... no extensions... no gel, only Shallac nail polish. They last forever, girls NEVER hurt me. I usually come to see them each 2-3weeks because of my nail growth. CALL PRIOR VISITING THEM to make sure they have time and to respect other customers please :

I have been doing my nails here for two years now and never been disappointed. They are normally busy during weekend so it's better to call and make appointment than walking-in. Customer service is good as well.

I was literally at this place for like 3.5 hours. They said they had space and then did so many other customers nails before mine and were taking unnecessary time in between coats. The final result was fine, and the people were nice but I would never go back.

This location beside the subway on alta vista. I came by yesterday in person to make an appointment for today. I said I needed my brows done, acrylic and pedicure. I called ahead of time to ask them if I can come in 30 mins later or to reschedule. She told me that was fine. I come inside , first do my eyebrows and all the workers are wearing masks. As I'm getting my eyebrows done, I notice I'm breathing in the lady's breath. I open my eyes and this lady who is extremely young is literally an inch away from my face and her mask is down to her chin she took it off mod way. It's only upsetting because this girl was visibly sick. The way she was rushing service made me feel uncomfortable .Anyways she assumed I was just getting my nails done after accrilyc but I told her ita my feet and nails. She said oh okay maybe we won't have time for your feet. Anyway I told her ill just get shellac for ny nails which really don't take long. As I'm getting my feet done, she rushed the service, as If she is getting ready for someone more "important". Instead of putting me in the nail booth to get my nails done, She proceeds to put this extremely dirty and dusty lamp on my lap and put my nails in. While sitting in the massage chair. The machine kept falling. After my nails were done she trys to put the foot dryer on top on the massage chair to sit in a weird position. This experience was so not relaxing. I came to relax. N get my nails done. I told her I can't sit like this I need a regular chair. She puts me on a tiny stool. I'm5"11 it was very awkward seating I couldn't even bend my knees to dry. The tiny lady left to go do 2 ppls eyebrows. I asked her coworker nicely who wasn't doing anything at the time if she can bring me the normal chair which was RIGHT BESIDE her so I can sit comfortably for my feet to dry. I didn't want to walk there barefoot with their dirty floor. She REFUSED and said wait til the lady comes back. I told her im drying my feet, and this position is extremely uncomfortable I just want that chair to sit in while I wait for her. She gives me a disgusting look and goes back to helping her client. I don't understand this horrible treatment I received and everyone was being treated like royalty , except me. I'm going to ignore the fact that it is because im BLACK. But if you are black run away from this place. They will rush u , and ignore u. Anyway as I was leaving I still tipped the tiny lady 10$. Enjoy ur 10$ tip because u won't be seeing this face again. I was going to this place since it first opened and I come everytime im in town, and I'm extremely disappointed. Unfortunately there is no 0 star button. That other rude lady im talking about was wearing red today Sept 16 and looks in her 30's. Bring back the old spa.

Great value. Best gel nails I have ever had. They are lasting a lot longer than others.

It was my mom and I’s first time using Sofia nails and so glad we chose this shop! They are so friendly and welcoming and do a fantastic job. I am actually very picky about where I get my shellac done and Anna did a flawless job. Bonnie was so nice to my mom and did an amazing job as well! Such a positive and comfortable atmosphere.
