Stunning walk! Easy parking and a invigorating walk.
Great trail for all seasons.
Such a beautiful trial. Lots of stairs from one direction. The stone beach was, and I quote "skipping stone paradise". The trees are beautiful.

Beautiful little trail right along the river
This is the hidden gem on the opposite side of the sooke river potholes, so usually only locals come here. Awesome area to hang out with the family. Rocky beach, super shallow water, and the trail goes 5km up all the way to the sooke potholes as well if you wanted. Much safer and easier with kids around the water, no drop offs in the water. Most of the time we just walk up along the path with the kids and dogs and end up skipping rocks on the water
Nice trail alongside the river. Lots of birds about chowing down on the dead salmon.
River was high. Lots of puddles to jump. Branches down. Still the best spot in Sooke
Really nice park with a lot of great places to swim.
Beautiful area. I recommend the upper portion after the 3rd parking lot, for direct access to the river and beautiful views.
