This experience was absolutely amazing. Like all the other reviews said; Randall, was such an expert and so knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. We had seals dancing around us and saw different crabs and eagles and starfish. You really get a unique perspective on the area. He made us feel safe and guided us through the sea and different crossings. He also shared with us about his life which made it such a personal connection, but with enough space to explore and observe. Thanks so much! We loved it! And have already begun recommending you guys o others! Also thanks for the great tips!
Randal was amazing! A really great tour guide - he was very knowledgable and he made it really fun! We saw a lot of wildlife and the views were amazing. I would recommend a tour with him any day!
Great experience! It was our first time kayaking on the ocean and Randall nailed it. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. His knowledge and love for this area are very evident. We will definitely be back!
My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our kayaking trip in the Sooke Basin. The tour guide was extremely kind, informative, reassuring and helpful. We kayaked on a beautiful sunny day; we were so happy being out in the water and being guided by someone who really knew the area. We are looking forward to renting with Mystic Beach Adventures again in the near future. Highly recommend :
Had a fun kayak tour of Sooke Harbor with Randal. He was a great guide and gave us a lot of good information about the area, wildlife, and more. He tailored the trip to our experience level and gave us a great recommendation for a hike to do later in the day Aylard Farms / East Sooke Park. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Vancouver Island.
We had an awesome time kayaking through Sooke Harbour with Mystic Beach Adventures! Beautiful weather, wildlife, and water. Randal is a fun and knowledgable guide. He told us all about the sea life in the habour, answered all my questions, and showed us some cool spots. I highly recommend booking a tour here to explore Sooke and get a good workout.
Amazing experience! Lots of local wildlife seals and eagles to see, as well as the beautiful scenery that is Sooke. Felt very comfortable even though it was my first time kayaking in a while. Will definitely recommend the tour guide.
Randal was amazing! Very communicative before the tour, and accommodating to do a last minute private tour during low season for me. The gear was in good shape and the location was stunning! A good mix of laughs and local stories, botanical knowledge of the ecosystem and wildlife we saw, and safety/kayaking skills. I felt safe and taken care of. This is a must do activity in sooke. I would highly recommend booking this tour with Randal!
