This is one of the best Indian restaurants we tried in Ottawa for Dine in and takeaways. Plus, everything is halal. Service is beyond excellent for Ottawa level. Food is very delicious and fresh, and they always put chicken breasts white meat, never dark meat. Never experienced gamey taste in meat like I always experience in other restaurants. quantities are big, and the seating area is elegant. Highly recommend the butter chicken and the tikka masala curry.

She is incredibly kind, attentive, and her recommendations are always spot-on. Each dish she suggests turns out to be absolutely delicious.nnMy husband and I are regulars at Sona, having explored nearly everything on their menu. The food here is consistently mouthwatering, and it never fails to impress us. We make it a point to call ahead to check if Kinjal is working because her presence adds so much to our dining experience. Her vibrant and positive energy enhances the already wonderful atmosphere.nnI cannot recommend Sona the Indian Kitchen highly enough. The food is exceptional and addictive—you'll find yourself coming back again and again. Be sure to ask for Kinjal; she is the epitome of excellent service and always makes our visits extraordinary!
This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Ottawa right now! The food was amazing especially the lamb madras and the chicken 65! The service was also phenomenal and the interior design and ambiance was so well thought out. This is definitely a place that needs to be on your radar and perfect for special occasions!
Great food and a huge variety of options to pick from. I suggest you order Rice with all your dishes just to keep the spices under control. Am a fan of spiced up food and yet still needed my rice supply.nOver all the food was great !
I don’t even know where to start this is already hands down one of my favorite places in Ottawa for real authentic Indian food. The flavor was absolutely amazing! The spice was everything and the portions were very generous. I really appreciated how the staff treated me cause the kitchen was a little behind but they were so upfront and super nice! Worth the wait! I will definitely be coming back. Pics don’t do it justice the lamb vindaloo was amazing!!
