Solara Resort & Spa - Bellstar Hotels & Resorts

We had a hard time figuring out how to get in the building and find our room. Once that was sorted out, everything else was perfect. Our unit was extremely spacious and beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. They allowed pets and we brought our two dogs. I would definitely go back.

A great sized condo that accommodated 8 people with comfort. Great location and wasn't far from downtown Canmore. Only complaint is the kitchen didn't have all the basic utensils and the knives were so dull that it made it impossible to cut/chop anything. Also the electric grill wasn't cleaned properly prior and ended up having a grease fire, which was all contained but not fun to deal with. Other than that, I would book here again in the future!

First floor room within 5 minutes of Canmore town center. Nice room and amenities however elevator is under repair and does not work. Underground heated parking was nice, but not climbing the stairs. We had an individual who uses a wheelchair who had to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to first floor room. Streetside parking is limited but for this room is the best choice. Pool and hot tub were nice but in main lobby location. We first arrived close to midnight and could not find correct building, so stopped in main lobby to get assistance. Solara has three buildings in this complex, and this unit is in Aurora building. Washer/dryer combo was handy. Major supplies were included. Kitchenware was exceptional. Unit is pictured accurately and is a good choice for the money.

The room is tiny, the elevator has been out since March 3 and no mention of that was made at all. After hauling luggage up 5 flights of stairs we could not get food delivered due to their entrance policy, and in fact it couldn't even be brought to the building entrance. I had to walk 2 blocks to get it. The staff then didn't want to let me take it as they had misnotated what room the order was for. The room had only one washcloth in the linens and no way to request more. This is not really a hotel as far as I can tell. Not recommended.

Stayed here for the week, Absolutely gorgeous rooms, very spacious and comfortable. Scenery is absolutely unreal, and really close to most everything you would need. Would recommend for couples, small groups, or small families
