I went there one a Saturday morning, 10 minutes before the opening hours. There was a queue of 10 people already. Going by google reviews, I was preparing myself for a long day. A gentleman came out at 9 am, the opening hour, and gave us those of us with no prior appointment serial tokens and we were ushered in. The service providers prioritise customers who have had prior appointments over the walk ins. Even the sitting arrangements are different. But once I reached the service booth, it took me only a few minutes to register a new vehicle. My service provider was polite and funny. Within an hour my work there was done and I walked out with a registered vehicle under my name! One word of caution: they don’t take visa or mastercard, but did take RBC’s client card, which is neither debit nor credit. Also as a temporary status holder I had to produce my passport, not sure which group requires what document. I am pretty happy at the service I received at this outlet.
If you have an appointment all you need will be done with 2mins. I went to renew my license on Saturday, the Sir was super friendly and helpful. Please remember make an appointment first otherwise you have to wait long time!
Poor customer service, i came 30 minutes before closing and was waiting with multiple people, a lady came out to tell us that they weren't going to serve anyone else unless we had an appointment. I had only come to literally just deposit a paper but i need an appointment to do something as small as that. Their work hours are terrible, anyone with a normal job can never actually come to this place because they'll either outright refuse you like they did with me or they're already closed.
Unfortunately I don't think those at this location are the most knowledgeable. I'm originally from Ontario and have had a RAMQ health card without a photo for a year. I got the renewal form in the mail and it says to go and get my photo taken at a service point. Great. I go to this location with an appointment on November 16th. Realized on the way there that I don't have my health card because it was in another bag. Decided to try anyway. Go and the man at the service counter told me I couldn't have it done that day because I didn't have that card, which is fair enough, and I didn't have a second form of ID. I had my passport which was fine, but I have a photo card from Ontario as a form of ID because I never got my drivers license. It has been acceptable every other situation I've needed ID, but whatever. I would like to reiterate, I showed this man my photo card. I showed this man my photo card FROM ONTARIO, on November 16th. He also looked at my renewal form to confirm he couldn't do it. I say this because I went home, made another appointment for today, November 30th. Go in and see the exact same man. This time he tells me he can't complete the process because I wasn't born in Quebec. Again, two weeks before, I showed him my photo card. From. Ontario. ONTARIO. He also saw my form, which he says is different from regular forms because I was born outside of Québec. Which means he saw my Ontario card, knew I wasn't from Québec, saw my form was different, and instead of telling me I was in the wrong place on November 16th he proceeded to waste two weeks of my time instead. I honestly can't even believe this happened. He insisted it was a misunderstanding but it truly is an unacceptable one. I would strongly suggest going to another location because this one will do nothing but waste your time and energy.
Very unaware and careless employees. There is a ticket/number dispenser at the entrance but at a certain time thay only take scheduled meetings. Room is packed with people who took numbers....no one intelligent enough to tell em' they won't pass. They let you wait an hour for you to find out. Not the sharpest pen in the box for sure.
