Went to the deli to buy some hot food and I was met with the rudest worker who has a bad attitude that needs to be fixed! Unbelievable. Rolling his eyes at me and his rude tone of voice because I wanted some sauces for the wedges and chicken that I ordered. Also the “crispy chicken” was still raw on the inside and no where near crispy on the outside. I’ll roll in my grave before I come back to this location.
A great day started with prayer and music was blessed even further thanks in part to a wonderful experience I had in produce with a Sobeys representative named Mike. He went above and beyond what any employer could possibly ask of an employee. Thank you Mike for speaking to me with respect and kindness. Thank you for teaching me about all kinds of different apples. You have a vast wealth of knowledge you share freely with your customers. You made me feel like family and I’ll be sure to say hello if I’m fortunate enough to run into you again. I can’t wait to try them all! You made a great day better! Thanks again Mike. Little bit pricey for my liking but they always have everything I'm looking for. Try the Monday morning deals. Usually something decent on sale!
The layout of this store is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. One side is pleasing with all the fancy counters and ambient lighting. Once you drink the serum and get into the aisles section, the store becomes Mr. Hyde and you get the flickering lighting and wobbly grocery cart wheels.nnFaceless cooler glass runs down the length of the one wall. It then curves around turning into the beer section which is like most of the Sobeys.nnWould shop here again if only to pretend I'm in Soho in 1910
Avoid this store, customers service is terrible!nI had a 3 pack of brita water filter bought roughly a week ago. Had a water filtration system added to the house so I Called Sobeys northfield location and asked if they could be RETURNED WITHOUT A RECEIPT. The girl on the phone said yes and if it’s under $20 it can be returned in cash and over I’ll have to put it on a gift card. I then said yes no problem I’ll come now. I get to the store and go to customer service and they tell me I need to prove when I got them .. I told you I’d didn’t have a receipt Sobeys and I called ahead so I wouldn’t get tied up in this situation, I was willing to take the lost! But you told me to come so I didd! Then the manager that was working on may 7 2024 at around 530pm was very rude and unhelpful she kept cutting me off mid sentence saying the employee who answered the phone was wrong and they wouldn’t do the return. Well since you guys told me to come either by mistake or not you should of did it anyways out of good measure to keep a happy customer , I gotta use self check and now I gotta teach you guys manners too. Geez super inconvenient had to hit another location and they did it no problem. I don’t know what this locations problem was ! Won’t be back . Plus all the other times I shopped there and bought meats that were about to expire in 1 day with no markdown or like salad dressing with 5 days left on and it’s value size. Keep an eye out people , work to hard nowadays for you money to be fooled by Sobeys . Thanks for the experience
