Sobeys - Lloydminster

Stopped to grab a number of items while staying in Lloydminster. The store seemed quite clean and well stocked. There was a good selection of fresh produce. The staff were kind and courteous.

Don't appreciate getting yelled at and followed to another til because my husband and I were in buying the butter on sale for my daughter law and our selves cause you were out on friday. How embarrassing of your staff doing that to custimers

Generally good produce. Meat goes on sale regularly and for decent prices. The pre-made foods are great. Pasta salads, chicken, pizza plus lots more.

Traveling from Calgary, to pick up a car, had a dog emergency in the back of the truck and Ron was more than happy to help me find a blanket and everything I need to clean up the mess and get the dog home safe and clean he had to go in the back and find a blanket in the warehouse Ron was SO helpful, he deserves recognition!

Second time shopper and both times the deli had dinner special but out of fried chicken,last time at 6pm and this time at 3:30 pm..I wish they would have enough prepared so I could purchase the meal.Dude behind counter said it would take 30-40 minutes to cook.I don't have that kind of time to wait.And most would not.Dont offer deal if you don't have Sobey's.

Found lots of fresh foods and all we were looking for, except fresh fish. Very little in case and some of it was brownish.

This Sobeys has a very extensive meat and bakery section for sure....I didn't check out much else as I was just stopping in for a few things. Parking lot is also plenty big and they have a liquor store next door which is good.

I love going there. I like their fresh Bologna slices that I can order and many ready made foods. They were well stocked except the tissue thing and half meats were. But they said they will restock this week :

I love this Sobeys. Stocked well. Fresh veg is great. Fresh fruit is usually mold-free this varies!. Staff are generally friendly and pleasant and greet you. I have had a couple of cashiers who have not been friendly and don't even smile when I greet them with a warm hello, but on the whole they are warm and welcoming and act like they love your jobs, and even offer to do the packing. There is a young guy who works as a cashier, can't remember his name, but he was amazing and takes such great care when doing the packing. The young guy who collects the carts from the parking lot, and also sometimes helps with packing, again I forget his name, is ALWAYS so friendly and happy and smiley and chatty, I really adore him. I love the friendly, familiar faces of staff. The older gentleman with the ponytail who works grocery is always so helpful when I need help finding something. And Kevin, the manager, was amazing when my wife and I once had a blunder on a "Power Tuesday". Sobeys stocks a great variety of products. I enjoy their bakery. I do wish they'd bring back their cheesecakes not the variety-slices that comes processed and packaged from a factory, as those were delicious. I love that they have a great selection of British confectionary and products too. Galaxy chocolate is where it's at, if you've not tried it! Way better than Dairy Milk. I see other people enjoy Galaxy too as their stock sometimes disappears quite quickly! I enjoyed working at a Sobeys in Ontario from 2007 to 2009, and I will always be a loyal Sobeys customer. I enjoy their quality, and I like collecting Airmiles. Their Power Tuesdays are also a wonderful deal 10% off the bill!. Thanks to the staff there who make it a wonderful, friendly and CLEAN place to do my shopping.

I really love this grocery store they always have everything beautifully displayed.
