I really doesn't know why i like this place. Maybe because of the green colour in their name boards. Or Probably because they organize and maintain the aisles, clean clear and better than Atlantic or Walmart. Fresh produce, veggies , bakery, sea food, meats, dairy products and in the middle rack's all other products. The only place in my surroundings where they sell pop in glass bottles. And the Recent Scene point system, clean and clear.
. The staff at Sobey’s North is outstanding in all aspects ,courteous, helpful and cheerful . I just ordered a prime rib that’s on special and the butcher was very accommodating as always. I have been prompted to submit this review after reading one that stated that their meat was inferior to Superstore . I totally disagree! When we are making a meat purchase I always can count on Sobeys products . Superstore won’t cut up larger pieces of sale beef yet Sobeys will gladly accommodate. One night they even called other locations to find anchovy paste for me.
This is one of the best and definitely the fanciest supermarket there is in SJ! I mean it’s safe to say it has everything you need, doesn’t matter if its daily basis or otherwise.
Prices for many items are not cheaper than those on WallMart and Costco, but are more diverse. Vegetables and meat have more options. Some people don't like it, but I still like it here. A good choice if you don't want to go far and don't need to buy in bulk. Friendly and helpful staffs.
Seafood department sells rotten seafood. I check it almost every 2nd day, and what is marked as packaged that day already smells bad, and is likely a week old. The oysters are months old, and could possibly kill someone. Once salmon steaks were edible.
cool store been going here forever they are reasonably priced and good location and i got my COVID shots there and the pharmacy good too there was a security guard who followed you around the store if you had a bag and would not try to hide it and harasses you but he seems to have been fired
Good store with good prices your theft prevention follows anyone who isnt white and has bookbags lol
It's nice and all, but the compliments spring rolls only have 13 of them when the packet says 14
I like this store but it is always pricey compared to other stores so it is not really our go to as first choice unless they have some good sales
