I ordered from here for a Christmas party, I couldn’t pick up due to a storm. The employees or managers were great with cancelling and giving a refund which I wasn’t even expecting. Very happy with the service and will order from here again. Thanks Sobeys!
I would give more stars if this store had Self Checkouts. The older women that work at the check outs here are rude. Do not even say hello or have a nice day when completing transaction. And don’t get a cash back as apparently it’s a big deal for them. Lazy, addle-minded and lacking customer service skills. This is not a one time encounter been there 3 times in the past 4 weeks and been served with the same manner.
I've shopped here weekly for 20 years. The distance combined with the selection of baked goods makes it an enjoyable trip. The cashiers are super friendly, and so are the birds. Yes, there are birds nesting at the top of the ceiling. My only complaint is the prices. Comparably to the other grocery stores in Welland and surrounding areas are much cheaper around 30 dollars saved on a full cart. The higher prices used to be justifiable by their 24/7 service however they've cut back the hours, and not just because of Covid-19, as this happened a few years before. Now the only reason I shop there consistently is the distance and amazing bakery.
Fresh ingredients nicely laid out love going there prices are a bit more expensive than say walmart

Always has what I need when I need it. My go to Sobeys location. Shelves are always stocked, and full. Location is clean. The bakery is awesome! Do miss the self serve bakery cabinet muffins though. Haven’t seen the carrot cake one in a long time. Wish they would bring it back!
Amazing helpful staff! They are always willing to go the extra mile for customers. And they cashiers are very friendly. Love the fresh produce and they support LOCAL farms! Love doing my shopping here. Oh and they have amazing quality cuts of beef and meats. And a deli section to get some pre made tasty treats like roasted chicken, various wraps, fruit and veggie trays..
Found what I came for quickly. A lemon meringue pie. Nice size compared to other stores. Very tasty. Also got a lovely potted flower. Very clean, nice set up to store. Friendly polite staff. Great produce, great selections.
Great selection of meat and vegetables. Store is always clean and well stocked. Flower department doesnt take very good care of the plants. Really bothers me to see the beautiful plants all dried up and dying on a shelf that gets no natural light.
