I shop here alot and they have an ok verity but there has been a few times were I've noticed their produce mushrooms has mold on them, the bell peppers were wrinkley, the cucumbers and roma tomatoes also looked old. The price and quality of their chicken very good but the price of the beef fluctuates so drastically. Two steaks can be $32 one week, then $58 the next. Once saw a $76 roast there once... just seems a little pricey to me.
Sobey's had great cleanliness, we were asked if we needed assistance with anything, and staff were all well manered! It was easy to enjoy the experience especially as we paid because the cashier was friendly, and engaging.
Always a pleasure. If I can’t find it anywhere else, I’m sure to find it at Sobeys. Today, I went through the customer service check out. It was around 1:30 or so. They were just swamped by the post farmers market crowd. The very nice young woman was so great with the flood of people coming through at once. Very fast and efficient. I forgot to catch her name. I’m still going to say “thank you”.Anticipating she will see this. It made my shopping experience. Not to mention I found everything I needed. At a very decent price.
