Right from the get-go Soak Essentials has been so accommodating for us. Not only do they make the soap that we include in our aftercare packages but Kristy has helped us find so many wonderful birthday and Christmas gifts for loved ones. She always has a wide assortment of fun and local products. A must stop shop if you are in Parksville.

Absolutely love this shop. Has such a wonderful selection of items in store, and more often than not you're looking at locally made products. All of the shop assistants are kind and helpful without being overbearing. If you're looking for a gift (leaning towards the female variety, but there are some good male options too!) this is an excellent place to check out! Their beginner soap making class is also an excellent activity to do, either on your own or with a friend.

Not just soap! There's so much amazing locally made art and jewellery. It's a great reminder of why our little island is so popular. Last time we went by, I made my wife leave her purse in the car. It turns out, I was the one who couldn't keep my wallet in my pocket. There's something for everyone in there, trust me.
