In my initial visits here, I noticed: Dumbbells which are loose and shaky, seemingly needing to have something inside of them tightened; An olympic bar which has broken bearings on the ends, and one of them has a sharp ring of metal stuck on the bar; A broken prone leg curl machine which, according to a staff member, has been that way since December. I asked staff about whether they were aware of these things and if they would be fixed. At their word that they would fix them, I signed up for a membership. 6 weeks later, none of those items have been addressed whatsoever. I had even notified the Snap email to make sure management was aware. The most mind boggling thing is, if there is equipment with jagged metal sticking out of it, why wouldn't you make that your top and immediate priority to fix? One would think that safety issues are at a different level of importance, no? In a response to the email I sent, I was told, in regards to the broken leg curl machine, that there are other similar machines in another part of the gym. Actually, this is the only prone leg curl machine at this location. 3 weeks ago, I noticed the gym's scale was not working. The sliding weight seemed to be stuck. I notified staff about the issue, and coming back today, I can see that also is not fixed. In the contract you sign, it mentions the gym may close for up to two weeks per year no mention of monthly fees being refunded for maintenance purposes. Based on what I've experienced, I can only imagine this might be the one time per year they actually do so. If you are wondering to yourself if this gym takes your membership seriously, and proactively maintains its equipment, I can only conclude the answer is NO.
The current reception working is rude for no reason lol. The only reason i signed up here a couple days ago is because they do month-to-month for $60. they are not even working like physically not in the gym during their stated staffed hours for me to cancel the membership. Feels like half the equipment is broken already or ripping apart. Completely awful gym, the members are nice though and you don't feel like creeps are watching you working out as a girl. This gym was nice when it first opened and had nicer management years ago.
Not sure about gym but management is definitely not good. Called 10s of times for memebership and never got to talk to anyone. Visited the gym twice, staff was not available in working hours. You either need to increase staff or at-least put accurate info about reduced avaiability.
I am glad I read the reviews before signing up to this gym. I have sent them multiple emails trying to receive my gym pass and I have had no response. No longer interested btw I wonder why this place only has 3 stars. It should have only one. Bad customer service but most importantly terrible management. All of the bad reviews referring to Kim the manager are terrible for a reason. I think a person with no manners shouldn’t be in charge of any public place. I hope the owners decide to do something for new possible costumers if they don’t want to have just 5 people assisting. I highly recommend anytime fitness, they’re equipment is much better and their employees are very polite.
If you're serious about working out do not go here. They are so expensive with minimal equipment, I find myself waiting for the equipment I need very often. I'm genuinely very displeased with the service I have received. They cost $75 a month which at the end of the year comes to $900, it's not worth the quality of the gym. Respectfully, I did go and ask if prices were different online than in house about a month after I got my membership just out of curiosity. The employees who was working that day told me no the only difference were potential sales going on but I was told in house and online were the same. I was also not told there was a different price when I first got my membership. I have set up my cancellation and will not be returning.
This gym is 24/7 which is good. Overall I wish the owners would put some TLC into this place. Half of the equipment is falling apart. Price is a bit high for what you have to work out with.
Wish I could give a lower rating. Loyal customer for years and they treated me like dirt. Especially Kim the manager, who was incredibly unprofessional and condescending. If you want a quality gym at a reasonable price steer clear from this place. The constant rotation of employees and management speaks volumes on how badly run this particular location is. I highly suggest ola fitness who was a great trainer at their location that left also and is opening his own gym!
I signed up for the free 30 day trial and, since I used to work for a gym, made sure to check everywhere that I wasn't signing up for a membership right after. Satisfied as I was that it wouldn't get me into a membership, I still didn't trust it, so I used a prepaid credit card to pay the "shipping fee" for the scan card they were sending. I recieved the card in the mail a week later. Due to my schedule in December I wasn't able to make it by the gym before they sent me an email informing me that the prepaid credit card didn't have the available funds for the $83 they tried to charge me for my MEMBERSHIP. I had never stepped foot into the facility even once, never became aware of the automatically charged bills even though I was being cautious. Must be hidden somewhere deep in invisible fine print, and was never contacted by a real person. Not only is that terrible customer service, but that is such a 'grey area' that it should be illegal. I know nothing of the gym and definitely never will after what wasn't even my first experience. I tried calling the 24 hour gym at 6pm on a Thursday to clear this up... but no one answered. So here's my Google review.
Regulars at this gym. Open 24/7 not counting the current covid situation . Access anytime whenever you want . It's clean, machines and weights are very good. The staff is very helpful, friendly and always ready to answer any questions.
