Smokin Barrel BBQ

We sampled all of their meat selection today. Brisket nice bark, turkey, ribs and pulled pork. We tried their beans and chili. The brisket and ribs were our favorite . The chili was different than the Texas style we are used to but very tasty. The owner was a delight to talk to.

We were looking for some place different to eat when we were in Omaha for an appointment. Google sent us towards Smokin Barrel BBQ, and we are really glad Google did! It isn't a place we would have come by just by driving around! It was absolutely awesome. I had a brisket sandwich with baked beans. There was way too much meat for me to eat in one sitting. It was so tender that it just melted in my mouth. The beans were very good. Had plenty of pieces of meat to enhance the flavor of the beans. My husband had the ribs with potato salad. He loved them. He considers himself a "rib aficionado" and said these are some of the best he has had. After we got home a 2 hour drive he claimed that we weren't thinking when we left and should have grabbed some meat to bring home for supper! I told him next time..because there will definitely a next time! If you are looking for some place for lunch, we strongly recommend heading to Smokin Barrel BBQ!

A friend told me to go there. It was worth it. Some of the best brisket I’ve ever had, cancel that, actually the “best” & I’m from KC & I eat a lot of BBQ. The owners are super friendly with the customers. Cars from NE & IA. Also got to try their Smoked corned beef sample. Also delicious. Will go out if my way to come back next time I’m in town. Took a pic & send it to my husband & friend. Only down side…didn’t have a cooler with me so I could bring the rest back home!

Great people and great food. The smoked turkey was super juicy and the brisket was the perfect texture. The portions were cut fresh when I ordered and more than I could possibly eat in on sitting, Oh and the pulled pork…shredded right in front of you! A+

The food was AMAZING, service was very fast and friendly. I had the corn beef special and it was thick, tender, smokey, and delicious! Sandwiches were carved and prepared right in front of you as the order is placed! 3 flavours of bbq sauce at the table...bourbon, sweet, and spicy

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Holy Herra- outstanding barbecue joint! My friend took me here for lunch and it was my first time eating here. The smell is amazing as soon as you walk in. The pulled pork sandwich is a huge helping of moist pulled pork enough for 2 sammiches. I added pickles, jalapeños and onions. Plus their spicy bbq and their bourbon bbq sauce are so jam packed with flavor I mixed them both on my sandwich. The potato salad is perfect. The baked beans have delicious chunks of meat in them and the sauce is on point.

Great brisket with well rendered fat and a delicious bark, my favorite thing to get is the brisket sandwich with coleslaw and pickled jalapeños on top. Each of their 3 sauces are distinct and delicious; definitely worth trying each.Food: 5/5

I’ve never been a fan of barbecue but when we find a barbecue place that I love, it’s a keeper. Smokin Barrel is our place that we love here in Nebraska. I had some of the best brisket ever. The service was fantastic. We will be coming back here again and again!

Smokin Barrel has to be hands down the best BBQ in Omaha. I work up the road at a small trucking company and every time we have people come in from out of town this is my go to place. Food is always amazing and the service with a smile cannot be beat. Everything on the menu is so good. Don't sleep on the bourbon bbq sauce either it will change your life.
