Smokes Poutinerie

I payed $15.24 for the buffalo grilled chicken poutine. In my opinion, the cheese felt like I was chewing on rubber and the chicken was softer than tofu. That’s usually not my type of vibe when I get a different type of poutine and honestly my money would have been spent better at New York fries. The poutine that I got literally was one of the highlighted ones on the wallpaper at Smokey’s and it did not deliver at all. Poutine didn’t feel filling either because my stomach took 5 minute breaks between bites because of how much the poutine was flooded with the buffalo sauce. Really disappointed with my poutine. Don’t buy drinks here either, they really are scamming you for the soft drink. Only reason it’s 2 stars instead of a 1star is because service guy was a nice person.

I visited this location and ordered a Philly Cheese Steak poutine and asked if I was able to get a cup of water on the side. One of the staff at the register, an older man possibly the owner or manager? moved to get me a bottle of water from the beverage fridge and I clarified that I would prefer a cup of water, rather than a bottle. He told me that they did not have any cups. Interestingly, right after he said this another, younger, worker at the cash tried to tell him that we did have cups for water. However, the old man told him to be quiet and reaffirmed to me that they did not have any cups of water available. I don't know if this was just a tactic to try to get me to buy an overpriced bottle of water but I found it quite suspicious. Suffice to say, I will not be visiting this location again. The poutine was okay, though it felt like the fries were a mix of old and fresh fries.

Did you noticed that, owner is Indian and all the good reviews are done by their cousins and friends? I could get this size and quality from Macdonald better cheese is not melt, same market fries and gravey for 9 99 small size just that I will not come back again!

Great stop to try poutine. We ordered the double pork and avalanche that came packed with all of the meat choices.

I have visited here 2-3 times and all the times I have visited, I was not at all disappointed, the taste, the toppings and everything was delicious. Must visitFood: 5/5

2 stars because staff was pretty nice, but the food itself was not great. $12 for cheese with the same texture as rubber, overly salty gravy, and also the poutine has an odd plastic smell to it. I don’t usually review places, but this was just so disappointing that I had to let others know what they’re getting into.

The poutine tastes sooooo delicious!! It was nice and HOT and fresh when I got it! I went to pick it up and the gentleman inside seems to have been working alone. The chicken bites were just ok that's why I gave a 4 and not a 5... They didn't taste fresh but I'm sure if u have small kids they will like the bites!

The cashier at the front Vish was very polite and nice with everyone. The food is good to.

When locked in your home and you crave to eat from outside, it is good to support local restaurants. So when our daughter insisted on having poutine for dinner, we did not have to look far. Smoke's Poutinerie was just a 5 minute drive away. They seemed to have taken proper care on the current condition. The menu was good and we were lucky to have fresh fries for our order. Not sure if fries are freshly done for all orders The box looked small but the portion size was sumptuous. Extremely filling actually. Every one in the family liked their poutine. Good taste, good ingredients, the cheese curds were very good and the "poutine experience " well worth it. Keep it up Smoke's..
