Sadly Tanya below is correct. I haven’t been into a smokes poutine in years. Finally got to one today and it was awful. I’ve always raved about this place and had stupid cravings. I ordered a pulled pork poutine and it was swimming in gravy. Fries barely cooked, just very soft and wormy. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location again…do better guys. Just. Do. Better.
I had an amazing experience here 31st march, 2023, around 7 pm, customer service was on top, the employees addressed me with a smile, and the food was amazing. The modifications that I asked for in my poutine were done perfectly. This was probably the best experience I've ever had in a poutinerie.Food: 5/5
Should a good place, sunny, such a good worker. Working on a Saturday making amazing poutine definitely deserves a rise to at least 22$ an hour amazing service made the rest of the night that much better pay. Him. More.
This place is not nearly as good as it once was. I ordered a WOW size poutine, and the toppings were minimal. Not nearly as generous as before, or the same quality. Theres a deal where you can purchase an additional side for 3.99, which was not honoured. I was charged 5.99 and told its only 3.99 if I'm adding the side to the poutine itself... how does that make sense? Nowhere on the screen does it say that. There were people behind me so I didn't bother fighting it. Then I got my side popcorn chicken and couldn't believe how small the portion was. Over 32 dollars for poutine, a tiny cup of popcorn chicken which was supposed to be on sale, and 2 drinks. Totally not worth it. I think that's my last time going here.
We went there just for a quick birthday meal we ordered a traditional tater tot poutine with extra curds, a pulled pork poutine that he wanted popcorn chicken added to it and boneless wings. There was a single person both taking orders and fulfilling orders which could be the main issue it was a lunch rush I have 0 idea why you had one person during lunch rush. She proceeded to hand out the wrong order to the wrong people and messed up our order she gave extra pulled pork instead of popcorn chicken and I was given something else entirely with jalapeños and some other weird toppings which doesn't sound like traditional to me. This was my first experience with this restaurant and honestly will be my last this was not a great experience and I wouldn't recommend it to others based on this experience.
Excellent food and customer service. The staff has good product knowledge. Helped in suggesting two of the best poutine options. The price is good for the portion size.
Tasty, fast, convenient, great selection, located in downtown Barrie, indoor seating, various portion sizes and not expensive.
If I could do less I would. First time getting this today just traditional and blah blah blah. And overcooked fries with only a few curds on the top. Ordered tator tots for a child literally 10 in the box? For $6 bucks unreal. Don't waste your money because for what you pay it's not worth it.
The food was amazing and the customer service was up to the mark. The overall experience was great.
We ordered two poutines and sides of peirogies and onion rings bringing the total to 50$. When we opened the poutines there was 3 onion rings on top of the poutine as well as 3 peirogies, we were very disappointed especially because of the price…. Not to mention the workers were being very rude, and clearly intoxicated.
