Sleep Inn & Suites Near I-90 and Ashtabula

I called the hotel directly a week before our stay (and spoke to Tiffany). I booked 3 rooms and specifically requested that 2 of the rooms be adjoining as we would be travelling with infant twins and 2 other 10 year olds. Tiffany spent a lot of time on the phone with me booking the rooms (which were more than DOUBLE the rate when we stayed at this hotel 8 months ago) and assured me that my request would be no problem. However, when we came to check in I was told that there were no adjoining rooms open. I was LIVID! We had to split up the adults because our children (obviously) cannot stay in a room alone. I had to push to speak to the manager on duty, but he was not helpful either. Offered us NOTHING to try and accommodate our situation and make up for THEIR mistake. The final straw came the next morning when I went to take a shower and found no hot water in our room! I immediately called the front desk and was told "that we had some problems yesterday with that as well. Our maintenance man isn't in today." Again, no effort to make up for THEIR mistake. I left a message at check out that the manager (who was not in that day) please call me. I have heard nothing. I have never had such a negative experience at a hotel and have never seen staff in a service industry so unwilling to provide for their customers.

Shower has the same pressure as a flat tire, wifi is comparable to dial up. Power outlet doesn't provide power. Do yourself a favor and call ahead to the comfort inn next door.

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, a decent breakfast too. The entire facility is smoke free, so it smells clean too. I slept great and am glad I stayed there. If I'm back in the area, that will be my first choice.

Room was nice though price was inflated due to bike rally. AC was strong though I had to climb over the second bed to reach controls. WiFi was SLOW after taking a while to connect. Front desk clerk was no help. Bed was very comfortable and shower was robust.

The hotel is nice but it seemed understaffed and there was no desk chair in our suite or although it was clean the staff was friendly and it had a very nice breakfast
