Ho-Hum Motel

For being so close to the highway it was do peaceful and quiet. When I called to inquire about room rates the gentleman definitely sounded "ho-hum" which is why we decided to use this motel. Rooms were dated but clean, reminding my boyfriend of overnights spent at his grandparents 40 yrs ago. Owners were super friendly and we had more accommodations here than the Fairfield Inn we stayed at the night before (mini fridge, microwave) Only complaint we had was an uncomfortable bed. We will absolutely use this place again if in the area.

This pick was a last minute stop and resort. Pulling in to an empty parking lot with more then 3 suspicious looking guys and no vehicles should of been our first hint of disaster. Opening the door to see the outdated furniture and non working lights wasn't really that unexpected, but the strong chronic smell was a bit shocking. With there being no other paying customers why they would stick us in a room that smelled like snoop dog just stayed there is beyond me. I was pretty sure I would also later find myself on a sketchy Internet site if we ended up sleeping there. As we went to get a refund a car with 2 pretty angry ladies pulled up accusing one of the ex fellons hanging out there of steeling her bike. With in minutes things escalated and the police were called. The K9 cop pulls in, with dog full on barking at the scent of the snoop dog room we just left. We couldn't get a refund fast enough. We even over heard a drug deal being rescheduled via phone as we waited for the guy to figure out how to cancel our credit card charge. PEOPLE I CAN NOT MAKE THIS STUFF UP! Pay a little more and find another room!

BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS.... and the management is actually pill-popping junkie tweakers. Never-ending drama and unpleasantness at this motel--stay away.
