Story

Slammers Gym is a new fitness facility in Port Alberni, B.C. Our gym includes, a co-ed and female weight room, stretch areas, cardio room, pneumatic machines, and a full cardio room. We also offer other services, such as infrared saunas, a stand up tanning bed, a full smoothie bar with a full line of supplements, and outdoor pickleball courts! Come check out our new facility and have a free drop-in, on us!!

I like it, but not alot of room to workout , the gym is big but the weight room doesn't have enough area to do free weights. Edit: they were renovating , that was why it wasn't very spacious, I would like to try for again ounce renovation all done.

Love this gym! Good equipment. Friendly staff. Fair prices! Also bought my pre workout from them which I've been enjoying

I hate to be the guy to complain.. However, this gym is not for you if you are into powerlifting at any level or if most of your gym routine consists of barbell work.  The bars are terrible. With a quick google search I found the same ones for $60 each at Walmart. Knurling is virtually non-existant and are polished, making grip even more difficult. The gym should really invest into some quality barbells; this isn't something to cheap out on.  Other than that, the gym has an adequate setup for the casual gym-goer.

Love this gym, and tanning as well...I love the women's section.. Been here close to when they first opened...some staff are great!!!

I'm here every couple days for my workout, the staff and other patrons are always so kind and welcoming!

Though I really like the maze like set up of this gym, it does lack more open areas to do your routines, pretty restricted free space

This is the best gym in town...over 7000 Sq feet

I go every morning and love the size of the facility and amount of equipment available to use.
