It was one of the best airport lounges we've been to. Have travelled fairly extensively over the last year & visited a number of lounges. These guys have a good variety of made to order items as well as pre prepared salads & cakes. The service is friendly & prompt. Clean-up is constantly happening all around, and they have a shower, too!! Most lounges allow 3 hours max, but you can stay here for up to 4 hours, which is great! The only issue was that we didn't have long to chill out here before our flight. 4 stars in stead of 5 because the chairs could be a bit more comfortable/have power outlets at all. The more lounge type/comfortable chairs didn't have power access.
I enjoyed the stay here while transiting through Vancouver international airport. The entrance isn't quite prominent but the upstairs space is ample and well placed. It has views of the planes. The bar section is right by the entrance and you can't help but to grab a drink on your way by. There are both hot dishes and cold ones for selection. I particularly liked the hot wonton noodles and the Cajun chicken wrap. It was a treat to be out of the hustle and bustle with pretty good food
A nice place to take a break before take off. The staff is friendly here, nice service. The food they offer is the only thing I felt disappointed, not many choices ! The bar is good, lots of choices on wine . Still a good place for travelers.
Staff was very friendly. Not crowded. The food was great and plenty. I really liked clam and chowder soup and salads. I will definitely visit again
the catering noodle bar and alcohol selection is better than the plaza premium lounge international. same air side views. but the setting is not as cosy or comfortable. still a good lounge to past time before flight, especially if flight is delayed
Good selection of drinks and food to fill your stomach before a flight. There aren't enough lounge seats, and not much else in terms of perks - no massage chairs, game room, etc. It's an open space which is nice but has the disadvantage of loud children and passengers in the gate waiting areas making the experience less relaxing.
The SkyTeam Lounge is located near gate 53. You simply check in at the counter before heading to the elevator or the stairway up to the Upper Floor for access. That is quite a large selection of food and drinks. You may also choose to have some alcoholic beverages at the bar. It seems like the wonton noodle is a must-have since everyone takes one. That also has some nice salad at the buffet area. Overall, it is a very comfortable area for you to relax and oversee the runway before you take your flight.
Love this lounge when I travel internationally. The staff is great and the food and drink are really good. No need to buy airport food. I had the wonton noodle soup and a ham and cheese croissant for breakfast. The ham and cheese croissant was just ok as it was food service style. Later for lunch I had the stir fry noodles and pork dumplings. All really nice. Capped it off with a beer and a nice Jameson's Irish whiskey IPA.
Probably the best food at YVR in terms of lounge food. Food hot selection mix of Taiwan and Hong Kong flavors. Dim sum, cold noodles and Won Ton. Chicken and perogies were good. Like high in the sky seats airy open feel. Some lounge feel trapped like in a basement. No issue with access using priority pass or Visa companion.
Great super clean showers, friendly staff, huge selection of drinks. Would have been a 5 star if there had been some more snacks and cheese and Crackers.
