A Fun Experience!! We were a group of 6 adults and had pre-booked 3 rounds of Luge from their website. You can find free parking to get there at P1, P2 & P6.
Very fun luge ride- you can pick up quite a lot of pace, and the views are great. A highlight of a summer trip to Mont Tremblant. Ride a few times: the first lap is for learning the course, the second lap is for mastering braking or lack of and subsequent laps for setting your quickest times. Only thing I wish for is more variety a la Sentosa luge with four ? splits but this is still very very fun
The luge ride is very fun. Twists and turns, I love how the track is long and you can choose how fast you want to go. The first run is to learn the track and your controls - you mainly want to go slow on the first run. The second run is to try to pick up some speed but still maintaining a steady speed. If you can go on the third run, that one is like a race track. You can speed down the track. I recommend going at least three times down the track. The family package is also a great deal. I love how the lifts will carry some of the luges up to the track and it zooms up and takes off like a plane. My only complaint is: It is very clear that they are understaffed. We went during Thanksgiving and the employees like tired and restless. When we went up to line up to get our luge and drive down the track, they have to train you on your first time. The line moved even slower than the one at the base of the mountain to get onto the lift. They need to train more employees and get them working. I genuinely felt bad for the ones that were working. Overall it is a fun activity at Tremblant. Would go again, just maybe not on a really busy long weekend or holiday.
The ride was awesome. You should definitely get 3 or 4 runs at least. The more you go down the more you'll want try a different race line. It's fun for the whole family adults and younsters alike. The smaller kids can ride tandem with a parent. The reason I am dropping a star is that not only are the lines long but there is nothing to do while in them. You have a long line to first enter the ride then once up the chair lift you have another long line. On a hot day you just bake in the sun. No shade offered at any point. No music to lesson to. It is obviously a popular ride which makes the lines long so be prepared but I would expect them to spruce up those lines to help pass the time. We had lose to an hour from first stepping I to line to getting into the luge the first time.
An amazing experience. Fun for the whole family. It is a 2 hour drive from Montreal but definitely worth going
I went twice and it's really really fun. I suggest buying tickets in advance. Queue time is really fast once you made your first descent. Ride itself is fun and you can go really fast but you go as fast as you want by controlling the breaks. There sometimes parents with kids and they're too stressed, i've seen some cutting through to join their kid without looking back if someone is coming that can be really annoying.
Must try, 2 rides per person minimum, but it's the line might look long but it moves pretty fast, except for a 1 hour wait still less than other attractions. But at least 3 rids for a great experience. Once you have done your first ride, there so no wait or lineup to do your second and third rides. Think of the line up as an entry point.
It really was way more fun than I thought it was going to be, you could definitely have a thrill on there and scare yourself a little bit! Best to go in a group and try to race each other to the bottom. Make sure you ask a lot of questions about how to get your pictures and videos and stuff as the staff didn't tell us anything and a lot of our group threw their helmets back into the bin and were not able to scan and get their pictures or videos... That was very disappointing.
Kids had an absolute blast. Was fun and unique experience. The problem is the 1 hour time slot to use tickets. Do not I repeat do not buy more then 3 rides. Due to lines you will not have time. We paid for 2 runs we never got to use as we ran out of time.
We took the 3 ride option for a family of three which came to $75 plus tax. I generally love these activities, as does my son, but it didn't look that great. I was wrong. We had a blast and although you can get stuck behind slower riders, that was not really an issue as there is space to pass and everyone was quite courteous. There is no rail here like many other such activities, you ride freely on a paved road and use the ski lift to go up the hill a nice use of the facilities during the off ski season. The initial ticket purchase line was so long since the online shop was offline, so after a painful 30-40 minute wait, the rest went smoothly. The first ride you must take a little lesson and then you can skip the training line. Well worth a try especially for those who are still kids at heart!
