We recently held a private event at SIP MKE. It was the perfect venue and offered our guests a chance to mingle both inside and outside. The owner was wonderful and helped us customize a drink menu ahead of time for our event. On the day of our party, the bartender and owner were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating to our group. The drinks and wines were amazing! Many of our guests came up to me to tell me how impressed they were with SIP, and that they would be going back again on their own both to shop and have a drink!
I highly recommend SIP MKE for your next private party or date night. I recently hosted an anniversary party there, and it turned out perfect. The owner, Jackie, and bartender, Laura, were friendly, personable, and helpful. We met with Jackie ahead of time to discuss the drink list, and does she ever know her wines! She also has a nice selection of craft beers and mixers for guests that prefer other libations. Many of the guests commented on how cute the venue is and that they will be coming back on a night where there is live music. 5/5 stars!!!
SIP MKE has become our favorite place in Mequon for a glass of wine and great conversation. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about wine and make wine tasting approachable no matter your level of experience. They also serve a lengthy list of beers and custom made cocktails if that's your thing. Be sure to check their event calendar for a variety of entertainment options including great live music, specialty tastings, and open mic nights.
I tried this place out Thursday, I was the only person in there with a lady employee and she kept coughing up a storm. I couldn’t wait to finish my glass of wine, I should have just left automatically and I kept thinking to myself if I get Covid it’s from here. Sure enough days later testing positive symptoms and all! I know it’s not possible to tell exactly where you get Covid, but why are you going to work obviously sick?!? How Rude!
Awesome little wine bar with an amazing selection of wine. Ridiculously funny gifts. Larger space than I thought - & super comfortable seating. Clean and run by friendly, funny folks. Cool event lineup.
My wife and I absolutely love SIP MKE! It’s simply a neighborhood gem with some excellent wine offerings no matter your price point. The tasting club is very well done and we highly recommend it. The owner and staff are wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly. It’s great to have SIP MKE in Mequon!
SIP is a gem in Mequon. Great selection of wine as well as gifts and liquor. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Joined the wine club this year and the tastings are a great way to try something I usually would not have.
SIP has awesome wines and live music! It has a great vibe and it is a blast to just hang out and drink wine or enjoy your favorite cocktail.
Very warm and friendly place with an excellent wine list. We love their wine tastings and almost always go home with some excellent buys to add to our collection.
Number one I don't care for $15.00 corkage fee but ok I paid it. The problem is the one gal who works there who looks at no one & then charges you for a wine you did not order. It was brought to their attention. Which that glass of wine was more than the one I had. And yet they did not correct the problem. No reimbursement of an over charge. I tipped well enough. So I will never go there again. Nor tell anyone to go there. Don't care to be tipped off!!!
