Simple Coffee: A Cozy Retreat on Queen Street East First impressions: Simple Coffee, nestled away at the intersection of Queen Street East and Eastern Ave, lives up to its name. It's a small but charming cafe that invites you to savour the simple pleasures of life. As you approach Simple Coffee, you can't help but notice its unassuming exterior on Queen Street East. The limited seating space suggests it's a better choice for those on the go. However, the cafe's character shines through its unique details. The post-it-note wall adds a burst of color, setting the tone for a cheerful space. Indoor plants create a cozy atmosphere, while two neon signs contribute to the cafe's mood. Keep in mind that the ordering station is a bit narrow, so it's best to place your order and make way for others. Experience: Though my visit to Simple Coffee was brief, it was time well spent. The cafe offers your staple cafe vibe, with the added bonus of being close to the road. Whether you're looking to sit and work, lose yourself in a good book, or simply enjoy some people-watching, Simple Coffee provides a relaxed environment to do just that. Drinks: - Iced Latte: A classic choice that delivers the familiar satisfaction of an expertly crafted iced latte. Overall: Simple Coffee is your go-to spot when you're on the move and looking for a handcrafted coffee. Despite its simplicity, it offers a warm and welcoming experience that's worth a visit. So, if you find yourself strolling through Queen Street East and Eastern Ave., don't hesitate to pop in and enjoy a cup of coffee that's simply delightful.
This little gem of a coffee shop is worth a visit! Super friendly service, delicious homemade lemonade and possibly the best Danish I've ever had in my life! Raspberry pistachio - just the right balance of tart and sweet, and crunch from the pistachios. I bought another to take home as we are from our of town and I just wanted to experience it again.
Exactly as advertised — simple coffee! The atmosphere is nice, simple, but cute with the community post-it wall touch. Coffee was very good; I didn’t get fancy — just a black cup of joe — and the flavor was great enough that we’ll be going back to bring some beans home with us. Not a big scone guy, but just looking at theirs I knew it’d be more up my alley, and sure ‘nuff!! A nice dry muffin-top lookin’ scone that had me pleased with my pick, and ready to chalk that up to my scone of the year Staff was very friendly, asking us about our day plans and such, which led to some martial arts talk about local gyms and owners and just an all around pleasant experience with them. We’ll be back before we go back home in the States for sure— thanks again!
What an amazing experience at Simple Coffee today! The atmosphere is cozy, cool, & inviting there's a giant wall of Post-It notes that's so my jam! - West coast / low-key vibes, ambiance wise. But what really made my visit special was the barista, Jason. Not only was he incredibly friendly and welcoming, but he also went above and beyond to make sure my order was just right. I'm a bit picky about my coffee and everything else for that matter but Jason listened carefully to my requests, and crafted the perfect drink. Overall, I can't recommend Simple Coffee and Jason enough. My new fav east side, java grab, go-to.
Could you name a cozier coffee shop with more exceptional service in the east end? Tripped in here with my crew and Jason treated us like old friends. The dude takes his coffee and other beverages seriously. Keep spreading them good vibes!
This morning, I enjoyed a latte at this cool café. The staff was really nice, and the coffee was great. I was impressed by how tidy and clean the barista's station was too! Overall, it was a fantastic coffee experience, and I can't wait to go back for more! also price was affordable and you can enjoy a great coffee without breaking the bank
Popped in here for an iced americano and cheddar scone - both were DELICIOUS. The owner was really kind and the vibe was right. I’ll be back Food: 5/5

A welcome addition to the beaches area right in time for the new year and love the option to get some amazing coffee other than chains. As the name says it, this place is simple and straightforward. Was Able to get 2 drinks and a pastry to go and was in and out in minutes. While there, got the pleasure to speak with the two owners Jason and Sebastian who are friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to this coffee shop thrive for years to come.
Loved stopping in here every morning of our week long vacation to Toronto. The owner, Jason, is kind, super fun to talk to, and the coffee is great! “One of our favorite coffee shops in the world.” My 5 and 9 year-olds say!Food: 5/5
