Simcoe VW

I started shopping for a new to me car back in July and came across a 2010 VW C.C. I contacted Simcoe VW and spoke to Victoria B. and I made arrangements to go see the car that evening. Victoria after spending he entire day at work took the time out of her family life to stick around and show me the car. She was very thorough and took her time to explain everything about the car to me as I was a VW newbie. Her efforts paid off as after a quick test drive and bought the car and picked it up the following week. I did run into a few issues with the vehicle and I have to say that even though I purchased a used vehicle, Terry Dean, Victroria B., and the entire service department look after me and got my car back up and running like new. I have been in the automotive industry for over 20 years and have never experienced such great service and an overall commitment to customer satisfaction as I have with the great team at Simcoe Volkswagen. Congratulations, you have won me over as a customer and I will be sure to sing your praises to all my friends.

One word describes this place... CROOKS! First, the service dept. overcharges you, ie: inspecting an issue, offering you a fix, you agree to the fix and have them do the work, yet they don't incorporate the diagnostic fee into the fix like any fair garage should do. In essence, you are being charged the 49.95 inspection fee that then doesn't get offset into the repair cost total. In essence, this works out to overcharging the customer on every little bit. Secondly, they install shotty parts into the vehicle, ie: a starter that lasts less than a year before needing replacement. If you're lucky, it's under warranty, but labor costs still apply. Be sure to take it to your mechanic and have him do the warranty work instead! Thirdly, they get a third-party garage to do the work, but charge you as if you are getting the work done at their VW dealership. This third-party garage takes zero care in handling your vehicle and you will get it back in worse condition than you originally brought it in. I will never, ever again let them lay a finger on my cars, and I will do my best to warn any and all what a crooked, dishonest, and disrespectful dealership this is. This includes warning my family and friends to never, ever purchase a vehicle here or give them any business whatsoever. And as a faithful VW driver for 20 years, I am aghast at what this place thinks they can get away with. Shame on this place!!!

The customer service was amazing! I purchased a vw jetta and couldn't ask for a better car! I had nothing but good experiences!

In the last 9 months my husband and I have purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership! (2014 Tiguan AND more recently a 2017 Wolfsburg Edition Jetta.) Volkswagen stands on its own with respect to quality but I have to admit… that’s not what keeps us coming back to this dealership…it’s the CUSTOMER SERVICE! (Specifically Corey Crawford) Corey is personable, helpful (without being pushy), and readily available to answer questions when needed and never made us feel like we were “just another customer.” He was patient and wanted to make sure we were happy with the decisions we made with respect to our purchases. My husband and I were NEVER VW people before these purchases however we will be now as a direct result of our experiences with Corey! (Sonya is also pretty awesome!) We loved the “realness” of both Sonya and Corey; they made us feel comfortable and like friends! I recommend that you check out VW Simcoe – tell them Jeff & Rebecca sent you! 

I had a great experience with this dealership when leasing my Jetta. So good, in fact that I recommended both my kids to them, who ended up both leasing Jetta's. The first one discovered a windshield crack under the wipers after getting the car home. They did replace it, but not before they tried to blame him.. the car had only been picked up the day before. The second child picked up his car the day he would be travelling 7 hours on the highway. After only driving a short distance he realized the car shook over 80km. He went straight back to the dealership and they told him not to worry, that it was just a flat spot on the rear two tires because the car had sat too long. (They were aware that he would be travelling on the highway that day.) The car shook all the way there and all the way back. When he returned they replaced the tires. After he left the dealership and went home to wash the car, he realized that they had removed all 4 Goodyear tires and replaced them with 4 lower quality tires. When he went back again to complain, the service manager first told him they didn't sell his Jetta with Goodyear tires and when my son could produce a picture of the car with those tires, he then told him they didn't have 4 matching Goodyear tires. I would have happily upgraded my car with them but now I tell that story to my friends and tell them to avoid the place. I will be car shopping elsewhere.
