Simba’s Hot Chicken

Lovely lil takeaway counter tucked in a food court. There is some seating available but it’s all help yourself, kind of reminding me of the hawker centres in Singapore! Very affordable and clean presentation! Very new and a limited menu but a promising start for sure! The taste is well too but with limitations. I’ll mention those below: The sandwich was properly coated and looked to be evenly marinated as well. Thoroughly cooked but not dried out! The fillet was very juicy as you bite into it. I was surprised to find out that it was a breast piece being used and not a thigh! Cons- If you’re going to call yourself “Hot Chicken” your recipe can’t be based on cayenne pepper! Though good flavour there was no spice what so ever to speak of ! Feel the name a bit misleading here! But at that price, I’ll have a mild sandwich any day!

Ordered the Nashville chicken combo, 2 sandwiches one tender and fries. The chicken was juicy despite it being white meat and had coleslaw and pickles in the sandwich. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned. The fries are crispy and the coated style which I particularly like think Costco fries One issue was that the person who took the order forgot I told them I wanted mild spice level, but made it as medium, not a huge deal as the chicken was still delicious.

Amazing food made fresh to order and incredible customer service. The portions are generous and the flavour is 10/10. The ferrero rocher milkshake was a delicious sweet treat to have after too. 100% will be returning!!

Simba’s Hot Chicken is amazing! Must try their Simba Hot Box option to take mild or spicy. Definitely different from usual chicken sandwich we have tried.

Within a week, me and my family went there twice. ITS THAT AMAZING!!! It’s very affordable! The chicken was so juicy and most importantly the customer service was amazing. I believe it was the owner who served me. Me and my brother had to wait a little longer for our food so he compensated us with an extra tender piece and even fries. I didn’t even ask for it. So yeah you guys go for it and enjoy! it’s worth it!

The tenders are amazing white meat and the hot honey seasoning is very good. Also tried the sandwiches which were excellent!

Food was amazing, large portions the chicken was juicy flavour was on point. There was three spice levels, i got the hottest one and it was the perfect amount of heat. Owner was so nice as well, would definitely come give this place a shot if you love spicy chicken sandwiches

Nashville chicken sandwich is pretty small compared to other joints/competitors. There’s no choice of how spicy or mild you want your Nashville. Smash burger was pretty good but overpriced. Fries are the same fries you get at Costco food court. Not a fan personally. Curly/wavey fries would’ve been better with some seasoning. Sauce you get on the side is very little. Overall rate it 5.7/10

The super smash burger is probably the best in town, highly recommend it, affordable, well packed and fills you up nicely. Best burgers place in the GTA!!

They damn near put the whole bird in my sandwich, opted for the hot box, tenders were huge, the sandwich was amazing. Everything was packaged great, the fries were crispy and tasted good, even threw in a free drink. Customer service was on point. All I will say is they need their own dedicated menu/site on here rather than Uber eats as the sole way to view it. The pricing might throw other people off on there and presentation isn’t the best on it! Hope to visit again soon
