Silverlake Family Restaurant

If you enjoy eating among flies, then this is the place for you! I accompanied a colleague of mine to grab some dinner, and he seemed to have enjoyed the experience but I did not. The ventilation system is not very efficient. The restaurant was crowded and it felt very warm, and that was discomforting. This restaurant is a family diner and 85% of their customers are elderly people. Also, as we were waiting to order I could not help but notice that the place is infested with flies.Their menu is quite comprehensive as well as affordable, and their service times are fairly slow. Their staff is friendly and so are the flies!

Service was a little slow being the place was not very busy. Food was good but not great. I liked the salad I made from the salad bar better than the dinner I ordered. Was not a bad experience but not a memorable one either.

My wife and I have had good meals until today! After noting that the people at the next table were finishing their meal and realizing they arrived after we had placed our order I motioned to our waitress. She told me that she was busy. I said that next table was finishing.... She returned with the food and told me again that she was busy and that I did not need to yell @ her from across the room. The food was cold. I asked for the bill. We left the cold food and paid the bill. Won't be back !

Love this restaurant and have come,here for years. They always have great food and service. If your not from the area I suggest you come here!

Friendly staff but the burger was laced with BBQ sauce and the paddy was so thin I don't even know if it had any meat. Too many onion rings to eat. It was flavorful, just not high quality. It is a family restaurant after all, not a gourmet burger place.
