You have to take the safari ride to make it worth your while. It was really fun and the kids all absolutely loved it. There is a restaurant and a room for parties and events. Food was basic hot dogs and hamburgers with cookies for dessert. They have a sleigh ride instead during the winter.

Pretty nice place for visit with your family especially kids. Lots of animals and you can interact with them by feeding or petting them. You can learn things about animals from staff there. There is tractor trailer tour around valley for visit, see and feed big animals. You can see: pony, turtle, pig, donkey, swan, duck, emu, kangaroo, chicken, water buffalo, camel, lama, buffalo, zebra, ostrich and more. Take some time and visit this great place where your kids and you will enjoy so much.

Don't let the rain stop you. We rode our motorcycle 45 minutes from Buffalo not knowing what to expect. Turning off the main road we saw rural houses and farms. Just when I thought this place was going to be a backyard petting zoo we saw the gorgeous pond and lodge. What a surprise! We bought our tickets and waiting on the tractor-drawn trolley to fill up with people. It was not overly full so you could move around and stay comfortable. They give you a large cup of food to feed the animals. You can buy more on the trolley as you run out. $2 per cup...not bad at all. You can tell the animals are well cared for. Our tour guide knew each animal's personal story. At one point he noticed an antelope who's horns were caught in a fence. He called a wrangled right away and he came out to help it get free. The antelope didn't even have time to get distressed. Each section is surprisingly clean...not a lot of poop and definitely not stinky at all. When the rain finally came we were still able to enjoy the grounds since the trolley is covered. After the tour we ate elk and water buffalo burgers at the grill. I know that sounds weird...pet them first then eat some...but hey, the food was great. Service was good too. We had an amazing time for less than $100. We plan to come back in the winter for horse drawn carriage rides in the snow and eat at their fine dining restaurant. What a hidden gem not to be missed when in western New York.

The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Not only did my grandsons get excited about getting up so close to the animals but I did too!! As soon as our tour drove near the animals, the all came trotting over to please us. (Of course the red cups with feed helped that!!). And the petting zoo was so cute with the potbellied pigs come to greet us. I can't wait to go back.
