I don't usually go to the cinemas often, however I do strongly recommend watching movies in 3D there as the experience has no parallel. A concern I had was that the reclining chairs, while comfortable, went back too much and I had to prop my head up for the entire movie. Costs have come up and you can tell that theatres are struggling against streaming services or other entertainment. Otherwise still a great "date night" experience.
Visited this theatre this past Tuesday. I used the kiosk to purchase the ticket however the scanner would not read my electronic gift card. Also, when purchasing snacks, the scanner would not read the gift card. After several attempts by the employee it worked. Unsure why there were so many issues, my phone was on the brightest setting and I do not have issues at other cineplex theatres. Perhaps an issue with in-house scanners? The biggest concern of the visit was that our movie was displayed in 4:3 format instead of full wide-screen. I did speak to the manager afterwards to let her know.
My partner and I love visiting this theatre. It is a bit on the older side, but it reminds me of a theatre I used to visit as a kid. Has great film selections!
was absolutely the worst. we went to go see bts yet to come concert and last time they had permission to dance they allowed us to film small clips. we assumed it would be okay and instead of politely pulling us aside one of the managers was aggressively tapping like hitting my friends 13y/o sister on the back and getting in her face yelling at her infront of the entire theatre causing a scene. when i spoke to him about how passive aggressive and touchy he was being towards her in a polite way he threatened to kick me out the theatre for telling him what he did was not okay. i spoke to another manager there, MATT and he only told us what we did and disregarded what the other male manager PJ did. nothing was done about how disgusting he was. never bring your families to this theatre. calling head office
It looks like this location has a broken scanner based on a review 2 weeks before I went. I was trying to redeem my holiday bundle and it wouldn’t scan, a staff member was nice and tried but weren’t able to figure it out and there wasn’t anyone there to assist him in helping. There won’t be a manager or anyone to help. It worked at another location, so it just looks like a system error that they still haven’t fixed.
Probably the worst Cineplex I’ve ever been to. Came here to see the new Avatar on its premiere weekend and the Outtakes counter is closed on a Saturday night. No meal for my 3+ hour movie and I’M SO HUNGRY!!! >:
Very good theater very clean comfortable seating. Friendly knowledgeable staff. I recently went to see the Elvis movie I would give that one five stars too... Or because it's Elvis Presley we'll have to give him five lightning bolts
Great little theater to watch a movie. Does not have all the modern technologies of the larger theaters but good enough to watch most movies.
The picture quality is very poor, my home TV as way better picture quality The seats are small and out dated. Time to up grade all Silvercity theatres
The cinema wasn’t anything crazy. I went to a 10:20 showing and wanted to buy some food for the movie, but the kitchen was closed. I thought they would’ve kept it open since there were multiple movies playing at the same time. So if you plan on watching something at this location, I suggest choosing an earlier timing.
