Small and old but cute and cozy. If you’re looking for a fancy experience with surround sound and large screens, this is not the spot. But if you’re looking for an old-timey feel with fewer people around, highly recommend.
Charming little place and has affordable tickets compared to other theatres. Currently, it's $8 for general admission and is even cheaper on certain days and hours. The staff were welcoming and the seats were very comfortable. The screen was bigger than I expected and the sound quality was great for its price. Have I mentioned how well maintained the washrooms were? Very brightly lit place and had quite a modern look. Any establishment that has a clean washroom is considered a great place by me.
This place is small and older but that’s the charm. I’d rather go to a theatre like this, where it’s less busy and cheaper. Went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was $5. Bonus, only 3 other people in the theatre.
Quaint, quiet and cozy. Prices are affordable and there's decent space for a smaller theatre but the main issue would be the screens. Sometimes the movies are not framed properly so you'll miss some of the screen but still a great place.
Saw kantara here tonight and was pleasantly surprised what a cute little theater. Screen was decent size and sound system was amazing. The $8.00 popcorn and water was a steal. As compared to $18.00 in Brampton. Will definitely visit again
What a great place...so Cozy and the prices are just right. People working behind counter are wonderful and the maintenance man is so nice and asked if we enjoyed the movie. It's alot smaller than regular theatres but that's why I love it...
This is cute theater right next to Burlington City Hall. They are playing all latest and Indian language movies as well. Ticket and snack prices are very reasonable. This theater is located inside a mall. The main entrance and public parking is available on Locust St. Give yourself enough time to find parkingparking is free after 6pm.
The screen quality is good but they should have improved the sound. The volume was too low which was killing the movie effect. Will recommend only if there is no other cinemas to see your movie.
Small theatre has its benefits but this ruined our movie experience, theatre is full which is nice but non working/reduced a/c not on par with at least small basement a/c it was suffocating first 30 min until I call and last 20 min again a/c was turned off/reduced. Turned very hot again. Travelled 1.5 hr as it's the only theatre for kantara in whole Ontario which is a joke, we look like fools to ourselves for our efforts. What a disastrous theatre. They are top class at one thing: Pricing on sync with Cineplex. Which they don't deserve to be paid even a penny
