Silver Peaks Coffee

On my travels today, I happened to be driving down Myhre's Road in Silverdale; I had to pull over to take a phone call; I did so in a parking lot adjacent to the Pacific Northwest Title Company located in one of the two Cavalion buildings. This building hosts several smaller businesses, including a coffee shop or a coffee kiosk whichever you prefer named Silver Peaks Coffee which happens to be situated to the right as you walk into the lobby! I completely forgot about this little place, What a perfect opportunity to try another Americano! The Barista working there was very pleasant and delightful. As she made my drink, I couldn't help but notice all the yummy sandwiches and sweets offered; I wish I would have waited to eat so I could have eaten here; that Buffalo Chicken on a Ciabatta roll sounds incredible! This little coffee shop appeared to be clean, with no messes or clutters and no unpleasant smells, just packed with yummy goodness and the lure of the Americano being created! The Americano was good; if I had to guess a medium to bold roast, full-body, mild acidity, I tasted hints of fruit with the slightest after taste, and the temperature was nice and hot. 12 oz was $2.78. I am certain Pre Covid this little shop brought in many people; it's such an excellent spot for all surrounding businesses and their customers, and I am confident traffic will pick up again! There is plenty of parking right now, although I remember going next door and struggling to find a parking spot, I imagine the time of day has a lot to do with it. This place has a really great selection of flavors and the espresso roast from Ootopia Coffee Roasters is delicious!! The baristas are super nice too!

This is, without exaggeration, my favorite place for coffee. We stumbled upon it while visiting the oral surgeon upstairs, but have come back many times just for the coffee. The flavors are always blended perfectly, the staff is very friendly and outgoing, and the energy of the place just makes it great. If you only go to one coffee shop in Silverdale, make it this one.

The coffee actually tastes great, there's plenty of syrups to choose from sugar free too, a selection of teas, and lots of muncha muncha offerings as well. The place is nice and clean, the baristas friendly, and the chairs comfy. It's just ...kind of tiny, your voice echoes like you're in a cave so not great for a lot of chat, and if you're seated anywhere close to that door lots of in and out traffic you're gonna need your coat!

Walked in, there was no line. There was a pile of recycling on the floor and a staff member was on their phone. They smiled at me, which was nice, but promptly turned their back as they continued the phone call. Perhaps the call was important and they were in mid-clean up, which is why I didn't remove more stars.

This little coffee shop is a true hidden gem. Situated in the lobby of the Cavalon Place business complex, this tiny oasis offers more than just premium coffee, which is roasted at Ootopia in Bremerton it also has a myriad of high quality foods. Everything from fresh fruits to salads and pastries that are baked daily! Silver Peaks also provides all the other usual concessions which include soft drinks, Red bull, bottled water, chips, and candy. The muffins come in two varieties those with gluten and those without. The ones without gluten are from yet another local establishment, Laughing Dog Kitchen! Try the Almond Joy gluten free muffins. You won't regret it. Now, onto the service...... Bar none. The service that the two baristas offer are a true notch above the rest, and the combined experience is a whopping 17 years! That amount of coffee making expertise really shows. Every drink I get from Silver Peaks Coffee is diamond quality every time, without exception. To top it all off, they're really friendly and I'm not talking about the artificial sugary frappuccino nice that you get at other big name coffee joints, these two are the real deal. Silver Peaks Coffee is definitely one of the best coffee joints in Kitsap County, hands down.
