Family of 4 with two children under the age of 6. This is a great campground for families and especially kids. The sites are large with big, mature trees that provide welcome shade on hot days. Staff are attentive - when we arrived we did not have a picnic table but staff brought one within 10 minutes of us making a phone call to the office. The two things that stood out the most were: 1 Very kid-friendly. There was a fishing derby the weekend we went and every kid is pretty much guaranteed to catch at least one fish bring your own rod/bait. Staff are super friendly with kids. There's also a beach, pool, playground and bouncy pillow. 2 Cleanliness. We've been to some nasty campgrounds. This place is the opposite. The bathrooms/showers are very clean. We would definitely go back and would recommend this place to any family.
Fantastic park for families with kids. Our grandkids had a great time.
Just an observation for those who have left the park unhappy. The park has had major changes this year - saltwater pool being one of them.. Park is open as of May 5, 2017. Please give Silent Valley Cottage and RV Resort another chance. It is a beautiful park .
Nice place for kids , lots of activities, but people like to speed around the play ground not cool
We left the park after 14 years. Parkbridge has killed anything that was good. It was a great park years ago but it has changed so much, and not for the better. I'm just glad we left when we did.
Well, where do I start..... I was in this park for 6 years as a seasonal. We met quite a bit of people over that 6 years. When it was privately owned it was taken care alot better. The rules were the same for everyone, everyone was treated equal. Then Parkbridge took over and kept someone in the office that could for the most part only deal with the male species. She would turn down customers saying weekends were booked when many sites were available. Grass was never cut on a regualr basis, garbage cans werent emptied, guests would go to check in and her and her daughter would be arguing,. Seasonals would pull weeds and get into trouble and told not to touch as it wasnt their job. Docks along the beach were busted up and seasonals would fix. Managers would be at golf course drinking and then come back and patrol park. There was a child molester in the park and yet the people that own the trailer he was visiting was still in park. Seen golf carts ditched and reported as stolen. Manager complained to seasonal people that parkbridge wouldnt stand behind her to get someone kicked out that was about to punch her out. I have NEVER seen so much drama in a park in all the years i have been camping. They really need to take control, so many people have left the park and/or talk of how unhappy they are. Probably an okay park if your a weekender, otherwise stay away! And i agree with another post of washrooms need to be updated!!
Very relaxed and well keep park. There was lots for my kids to do. Pool was very nice and enjoyed the adult only side. Planning on going back next year.
Great playground for kids, nice clean lake and beach for swimming and lounging, but surprised at number of golf carts zipping around
Stayed here Monday to Friday in July. Beautiful park very well maintained and very very clean. I was really impressed.
Such a homey place to stay. The campers are very friendly. The grounds are very clean there grounds keepers keeping washrooms, pools, beach, and camp sites clean and ready to welcome the next camper thanks for the awesome stay
