Side Hustle Sandwiches

Great sandwich place with strong ties to the local community! The brisket sandwich was excellent. The pretzel bun was somehow crispy on the outside and fluffy and chewy inside. I also enjoyed the kale caesar tired with toasted almonds. They had a pork belly sandwich special that was like bahn mi that was pretty good too. Service was excellent and friendly. There is very limited outdoor seating out front but it is nice to sit there and people watch while enjoying a beer or cocktail.

This is one of the best places I've ever been for sandwiches The food is unreal and the service was great. The cocktails here were super good too. Definitely would recommend checking this place out. We can't wait to come back again to try the other sandwiches that also looked unreal. We had the PBLT which was so good. The jalapeno peppers and mac and cheese were unreal too.

Symphony of flavors in your mouth! These are not your every day sandwiches! Blue cheese and cilantro together ...now you're talking dirty to me! Loved it here, server was great, chefs on point with their food! Air con in the hot weather would be a sweet addition but we will still mark this spot "to return to" Merci! Super tasty sandwiches and better than I was expecting! Not exactly cheap, but I was not disappointed. Order the Brisket and was VERY flavourful, the hint of spice was excellent. I have high standards for Mac and Cheese and Side Hustle's was simply okay. Not 'wowed' but not upset either. Ordered for takeout, and looking to visit in person for the beer selection!

Stupidly good sandwiches, pungent pickles, mystery chips every time...the only thing missing from my Doritos is a double Jack and Mountain Dew! But seriously...I wouldn't drink that, but I eat here all the time. Service is the good kind of cheeky! Great local spot!

Delicious sandwiches, nice selection of quality locally brewed beers, fun and eclectic atmosphere, and great service. Pictured is a daily special version of their pork belly sandwich. Looking forward to the next time!

If the description of their beef brisket sandwich wasn’t enough to convince me I was about to have a fantastic lunch, one look into the box had me. Even a single bite in I was convinced this was one of the best sandwiches I’ve eaten in Vancouver. It’s not cheap but it is worth it and it’s definitely unique. The staff were so nice as well, shout-out to Cobra, she was super helpful. Will definitely be returning to try some of their other products!

first sandwich at side hustle, formerly eight and a half at the depencier house, the oldest single family home outside of downtown vancouver. blah blah trivia... i had the butter chicken special. nice for the cold drizzle outside. the side salad was great as well. it would be nice if there was a daily soup for lunch, really only need to make enough for lunch. once it's sold out it's gone. i'll be coming back to try the beef sandwiches. it was a chicken day.

Came across this place spontaneously and it surprised me. I ordered the vegan sandwich and it was pretty good, they also have the ability to make some of their items vegan, which was nice flexibility. Ambiance is casual, it’s a bar with good food is how I describe it. Cobra was great and really made the experience here worth returning. It’s not fancy, but it’s a solid sandwich bar for a casual drop by.
