A professional performing arts centre in the heart of the Comox Valley.

Story

The Sid Williams Theatre is operated by the Sid Williams Theatre Society, a registered charitable organization. The Society is responsible for the day-to-day running of the theatre, from artistic programming to custodial, from promotions to lighting design.

The auditorium has just over 500 seats, including a 140-seat balcony and accessibility platform. The theatre lounge is fully licensed, offering refreshments and snacks prior to a performance and during intermission.

This was the first time catching a live show at Sid Williams Theatre. The acoustics were fabulous, the seats comfortable, the service great and friendly. This was also the first time my son and I caught the Joe Cocker Experience. The theatre and entertainment we're both five star
Great local theatre and venue. We recently attended a Christmas play with our grandchildren and it was a terrific experience. They loved the fact that they could use extra seat cushions to get a better view. Very welcoming and comfortable overall.
Nice local Theatre often with great shows/musical acts and support local causes. Still in dark ages with beverages/snacks. Only allowed to consume in very small lobby area pre show or during g 20 minute intermission, standing elbow to elbow, after long line ups to purchase.
Very nice theatre but not enough washrooms. Huge queue at interval to use one washroom which I'm physically unable to stand in, meaning I spent the second half of the show in some discomfort. This would definitely put me off coming back again.

My tickets for Ron James were bought last minute. My seat was against the wall half way up the main seating area and it was great. It seemed very intimate and the temperature and air circulation in the theatre was perfect.
We saw Corb Lund and it was Amazing we had a great time
Sid Williams theatre never disappoints! I took my mom to Steel Magnolias. It was fantastic!
