Pure Bangladeshi Restaurant. Warm welcoming atmosphere. Enriched menu with variety of items. Bengali channel running on TV. Good place for hanging out with family and friends.
We came in here with a party of 9 people from Toronto. Needless to say, after a 6 hour drive, we were craving for some authentic delicious "Shoshur Bari" type Bengali food. And then we ended up at this gem of a place. I ordered a Biyer Bari Polao & Chicken Roast and the others ordered Beef Tehari. Everything tasted absolutely delicious and the waitress was very professional and courteous! Thanks
Best Bangladeshi food in Montreal,Quebec. I like Biriyani and Tehari but beef chap was the best. The restaurant is clean. I hope the location in Toronto opens up soon InshaAllah. Halal food Alhamdulillah.
Food makes people happy, and if it is the kind of food you adore so much will make you feel so achieved. At Shoshur Bari, that's what happened to me when I have ordered items, including Singara, Dal Puri, Tea, and Goat Tehari. The food was not only great, on top of that, their service was excellent and very prompt. They gave us an ample quantity of food, and their ambient is also good. I thank Erin, the girl who ensured proper customer satisfaction.
New Bangladeshi restaurant in town!! Beautiful restaurant with good food. We tried fuchka, chotpoti. They were absolutely delicious. Their kacchi biriyani was also good. But you might have to wait a bit for the kacchi because they serve it fresh, right from the stove. So its better to call in advance to know the serving time. I really like the decor...specially the name and the logo. Highly recommended.
The best Bangladeshi restaurant I've been to in Quebec.We were in Montreal for few days, I don't feel the need to try more. The food is always amazing here, the service is very good, and the atmosphere is nice.. a must go to place in Montreal. Will definitely come back. Wish they have a branch in TORONTO..!!
1st time in SB. Wow! the taste just brought me back to Bangladesh. Great food. Can’t wait to go back with friends and family. Also It’s rare that I’ve seen an Indian or Bangladeshi restaurant focusing on decorating the washroom. I was surprised washrooms looks good. The decor of the restaurant looks good too.
Food has been made with great care, environment is a really good and clean. However the food was not tasty. Misti doi was awesome! Rest of food taste barely average.

Lovely restaurant. Quite different menu than the standard North Indian or South Indian restaurants! Edit 11/21/19: The service I have experienced at this place shout out to Shagufta! is just other worldly good! Different food items, Good taste and exceptional service.
