Shores Primary Care PC

I give this doctor's office NO stars. I'm having a hell of a time trying to find out why a referral I was supposed to receive never arrived in the mail. I had an appointment on July 17th for pain and numbness in my leg due to sciatica. The doctor said they wanted to send me for a test to rule out a blood clot and if it came back clean she would refer me to a neurologist. I called on July 25 when I hadn't received the referral for the test. Was told that they would leave a message for the doctor about it and asked for my name and number. Nobody contacted me and I didn't receive the referral. I called again on July 31st and they switched me to the referral line, again I left my name and number and still nobody has contacted me. If there is a problem with the referral or something, they could at least call me back to let me know. I do agree with other reviews I've seen about this doctors office, some of the people that work there are very rude.

They are great and go out of there way to help you. The Dr's spend time with you and lesson to you.

.WORST PLACE EVER!!! I called my bp rx in on 7/13/17..i still had pills so i did not go to my pharm to get it until 7/23/17..no script called in...i called 7/24/17 had to leave a vm....this am..i called my pharm....no rx called in still ......i called the dr office today 7/25/17 and get someone on the phone..well you need an appt in order to get your rx refill...my ? Then was ..why didnt any one tell me...ive had headaches and chest pains...I said i need an appt Right Now then..I go in..Everyone that goes to the desk..they tell them either they are mistaken abt their appts or their appts were last week...LIES..a lady says well i have this card with todays date on it...they say Well you must have rescheduled ???????😒 how is that possible without you knowing..Lol they have crappy attitides ..rude and nasty...like a bunch of bumbling idiots...and im being nice. My turn...i was seen by the NP..i expressed my views....i said i want the script..i do not trust them to call it in.....she says ok...go wait in the lobby..15 mn later they say ok Mrs Pearson your rx has been called in...EXCUSE me.?!!..i sat here for 15mns for u to tell me that.? I said you were supposed to hand me the script thats why i sat...So i call my cvs pharm...no rx called in....i ask them..they say we called it in to Rite Aid...😒 i said who said anything about Rite Aid?! The big blonde says "what?" Like she ready to fight...I repeated my self..because if she wasnt ready i was...."I Said Who Said Anything About Rite Aid"!...she said thats what we have down...we can change it...I said oh no no no....i will go out of my way to pick it up...and NEVER WILL RETURN.....My bp was only 127/20 go figure....

I have been prescribed the same medication for my asthma since birth. Today I was denied my albuterol because I had to "come in to get the prescription" I left a voicemail days ago on the "prescription line" was NEVER given a call back or my albuterol for my asthma. I told them I am having TROUBLE BREATHING, which is pretty serious. I have been using them as my Pcp for years and I personally avoid coming here at all costs. I hate coming here so much, because of the rude staff, doctor's included. The doctor's are neglectful and irresponsible. I trust an urgent care more than these people. The office people are extremely rude, have bad attitudes and their poor skill set shows. I worked at a doctors office and there is no reason for me to show up to an appointment and wait 2 hours. There is absolutely no reason for rudeness as well or waiting on hold for over 10 minutes until I hang up and call back. Well, I'll be going to another urgent care today!! & I will never return here. Also was prescribed psychiatric medication since the age of 14 (proof in my prescription history/psychiatric evaluations) and this doctor told me if I get an "updated psychiatric evaluation" that he would prescribe it to me. I did, which takes months... after the process was done... I was STILL denied my medication. This entire place is a lost cause and the 1.8 stars is laughable I honestly hope I brought it down. I hope there is snow in your driveway and every soda you get is already shaken up.

After going to SPC for years for wellness and when ill, I will never return. After my insurance changed I decided to condense doctors and go to Shores Primary Care for refills on medications I have been on for years (with proof from prescription history). I saw Tara, a very nice nurse practioner who was new. She stated that after talking to her supervisor she was not able to refill my medications because another doctor's office used to and they don't have my current diagnosis. I stated they could contact my prior doctor and get my file, they could also check my prescription history showing consistent use of these medications for years. I even stated I was open to different medications, but she denied me any treatment at all stating she would need to refer me. I was treated as if I were drug seeking when clearly my history shows I am the opposite. I have a graduate degree, work in the mental health field and am very aware of current procedures and abilities of physicians... I waited an hour to be refused treatment and I will be sure to let everyone I know in the SCS area and everyone in my network to avoid Shores Primary Care.
