The park was very clean and so nice to set on benches and watch the boates and relax in the sun. Loved the art displays that were hanging by cables. Glad to see major improvements in downtown. Dog-friendliness: Its ashame that a person with his dog allowed to poop and he didnt clean it up twicw. So disrespectful. The park is so nice,they need to have a bag
As a first time visitor to Lake Erie and the cities which adorn its shoreline, I was taken aback by the welcoming feel and sheer number of roadside parks, beaches, and outdoor recreation areas. Shoreline Park is lovely, and right away sets the tone of the 'Lake Life' which residents certainly seem to enjoy, for fishing, beachcombing and water activities abound. Bring your pole and walk the rocks to a lucky spot, or bike, skate and stroll the lovely grounds.
I had no idea so much history was here! Mind blowing information I just received today! I was blessed with a great tour guide lol. Thanx very much for the knowledge. I definitely enjoyed getting history lessons.
This place is absolutely amazing!! You can see cedar point from the park, walk the rock trail all way out onto lake erie, it was clean and taken care of and you can even fish right there at the park in many places. There's is a park for kids also just not in pics.
The best park in Sandusky. Best time to visit is in the spring when the weather isn't too hot and ESPECIALLY when the baby geese are here! Scenery is beautiful, the sound of the birds is peaceful to me anyway, and the picnic shelter area is perfect for super hot, sunny days. There's also a food area unfortunately on the same establishment as the restrooms, and I will probably never eat from there, but to each his own. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind, take a break from work, get some fresh air, fish, birdwatch, take pictures, look at Cedar Point, exercise, ride bicycles/rollerblade, walk your dogs, play on the playground or take your kids there, have picnics, watch the 4th of July fireworks, or even just hangout with friends and capture memories. Whatever the occasion, this is the place! I strongly recommend this place for everyone—elderly, babies/toddlers, adults, kids, teenagers, animals, etc.

Is nice during the day and when the sun is out. The water view is beautiful and it was cool to see cedar point from the park . This park has a nice play area for the kids too. Was a little different at night and when it was dark ! Was like night and day but they do say strange things happen during the night. Yes I left and got out of there fast

One of my favorite places to go to take pictures! You have a little bit of everything between the waterscape or sunrises/sunsets or even Cedar Point photos if you are a fan, this place delivers on great photography Lots of room to walk around and places to sit out of the hot summer sun and restrooms! seasonal. There are bird droppings to watch out for but that is a part of being outside. No different really than accidentally stepping in some humans gum they couldn't put in the trash can... I highly recommend this place if you are looking to relax and enjoy yourself outdoors without leaving the city.
Very nice clean park with good views of the bay. Enjoyed the benches and there was plenty of parking on a Saturday morning. Very nice overall.
