All of the locals kept recommending this place while we were in Sandusky on vacation and I know why now, it is beautiful! They have a nice playground for the kids, plenty of sidewalks along the water, areas for fishing, and they even have swings right by the water so you can sit and swing while watching the sun set on the water!!! We did not spend a dime and had a wonderful day here with the kids! I suggest packing a picnic and bringing the whole family for the day!

We stopped by to see the huge inflatable duck in the evening during the tall ship festival. There is an abundance of public parking around the area and it's great. The vibe was relaxed and the pier looks beautiful. It was nice to sit on one of the huge metal swings and watch boaters and jet skiers drive around.
Great place to hang out, cute restaurants and stores! Only downside is there is not a lot of ac buildings. The new marketplace is a great place to beat the heat. Also plenty of parking in the surrounding area. Great stopping point in the way to/from Cedar Point.

I’m very confused by this pier. I saw at least 100 cars come and go throughout the day. At first I thought it was a drug dealers paradise. But come to find out, people just sit in their cars and read the paper? Perhaps there is more to see in the summer.
Wonderful public commons with access to plenty of places to sit, fish and great green space. A gem for a beautiful downtown.
They show movies. Plenty of seating. Nice view of the Bay and Cedar Point across the bay. They have some great swings that are available. Very large sit three or four at a time
Beautiful spot to sit and enjoy the waterfront. Lots of seating. Great to watch the boats go by.
Great out door area for walking the peer and enjoy the lake.
